I agree with Julia just got a copy of it two days ago and have watched the whole thing. Thought Julie summed up the whole show up very well, so I won’t repeat it.

I’m sure bringing it back will not be possible, but just wanted someone to know how much I enjoyed it. Sure would like to know what happened to all the characters. Oops, maybe I got just a little too involved.

Anyway, thanks for at least one year.

BRING BACK THE SHOW. I discovered the Unusuals only two days ago since I have not had TV/cable for 5 years and typically do not watch any criminal series. But this show was great – funny, smart, with good acting, nothing cheesy. I do not understand why the show did not make at least another season.

The Network program directors do not know their audience. Do they take into account the fact that many of use our cable DVR function and watch the programs later as we can. I am not going to start watching any new programs – why waste me time????????
Bring back the Unusuals as a start to giving the viewers what they want. Your network has gone to the dogs. Realty shows are for the people who leave their TV’s on while doing something else. I hate Reality shows and will never watch one. BRING BACK THE UNUSUALS – IT WAS A GREAT SHOW

Truly, I thought I might be mistaken and it was just gone for the summer. What a surprise! No more Unusuals!! This was a different, quirky, intriguing show.. more true to life in many respects than the Law and Order with a cast that was wonderful with all the phobalies. Sorry to see it go, and of course, won’t be watching your station during this timeframe again unless they come back. Seems you lose a lot of viewers this way!! Oh, I only watch 2 other shows on your network as it is, maybe someone else should be your “decider” as to what stays and what goes?

The problem is the greed, the network have no penitence, they want instant results! It’s not about quality anymore, it’s about profit plain and simple. Cable has decimated the mainstream networks, they are jumping throw their asses trying to recover all of the viewers they have lost over the past years. The children running the mainstream networks are like a bunch of kids on Ritalin! It is sad; the once great giants of TV have fallen and can’t get up! Do the right thing for once and listen to the people and not your wallet put the show back on and you’ll see.

This show was one of the few cop shows I ever watched. I thought the cast was excellent, there was drama, humor and some romance. Not your typical murder
cop shows, of which we have enough. I can get that on the nightly news.
Very poor decision on ABC’s part……………again a real disappointment

Please reconsider ABC. Years ago ABC was my favorite network. I only watch three shows on a regular basis and now Ill be down to two unbelievable. I thought this show was funny, creative and a great change from what is on television today. I’m tired on reality shows and do not like the direction that TV is heading. Excellent job on casting and the writing are awesome.

I really enjoyed this show over all of the other cliche cop shows that always wind up on network television. The disappointing thing is once I started to really connect with the shows and characters….it was over. They couldnt even give it a proper finale. Im most disappointed about this show being cancelled.

I think The Unusuals is one of the better shows on television. The characters were quirky but good and funny; the storylines actually interesting; and the music grabbed my attention. I am sad, I was growing fond of the characters, and looked forward to watch something entertaining on Wednesday night for a change. I keep looking in the guide for the broadcast time and was anticipating the ongoing communications of the cast embedded in a stroy line. It was funny, sometimes real, and yet with a serious side. What a mistake to cancel. A show like this takes time to develop a following. I was not crazy about it at first, but the second time, because nothing else was appealing to me I watched again, and begin to get hooked. The third time I was getting in tune to the different roles, and appreciated the complexity of the story lines and the people within them. I want More!

I find myself drifting away from the big networks and looking more to the cable networks… The quality of the shows is much better and they seem to last a lot longer. They don’t shut down a show like The Unusuals after a couple of episodes. As soon as I start liking a show they yank it off. I really don’t know how they come up with the ratings for TV shows but I don’t believe that it really reflects what America really wants to watch. I think ABC really screwed this one up.

Why is it when out of the clear blue, a great TV series rises up above the majority of the crap that’s out there, with great characters, great story lines, best “real” photography since NYPD Blue – - and you cancel it! There can’t be too much intelligence in the decision-making crownd to do something as short-sighted as this. It is way too good to be cancelled. Please keep running it.

Don’t cancel the show. You need to give it a little more time. You put it in the time slot of an already failing show with barely an advertising and expect people to be aware that a new show was there. Most people probably didn’t even have the time to re-program the Tivo’s and DVR’s. Come on “GIVE IT ANOTHER CHANCE”. This cast is awesome.

I’m so sick of these trailer park reality shows at are on all over the airways.

You idiots at cbs need to rethink your futures, this was, a great show you obviously
have no concept of what the public watches or wants to watch. I loved the unit also.

There is not many shows that keeps my interest. The Unusals is one that does. I love the stories and the interaction with the actors. My biggest surprise was the interaction between Adam Goldberg and Harold Perrineau I can,t believe that was the same guy in Lost. JUst shows you give the right script to an actor and it can do wonders.
PLease ABC I beg of you don,t take it off, take one of those stupid reality shows first.

As usual, it is not unusual for the suits or whatever number crunching, bean counting types to cancel a show that is unusual and interesting. Another reminder not to watch ABC, you cancel good shows such as Life on Mars and back mindless, plotless, reality shows. Back to cable with HBO and SHO and maybe even a good book.

Great Job, ABC. Keep canceling good shows like The Unusuals and its predecessor Life on Mars. Apparently too thought provoking for the average slob. Since there is almost nothing left on TV for anyone with an IQ over 70, I am just going to start reading all those books I have stockpiled. I don’t have any interest in shows like “Dancing with the Baboons” or “Swapping My Wife for a Beer”.

This program with all of it’s quirky characters and plots is one of the best shows on TV at this time…If you want to cancel something, how about some of the reality programing!! These programs are nothing more than mindless fluff, designed only to take up space on the networks schedules. Surely no one truly get invested in this type of programming. the Unusuals is, by far,the best show on T.V. When i heard ABC was cancelling it, I couldn”t imagine anything they have in their entire programming schedule that is even faintly worthy of replacing it It seems to me,ABC hasn’t had a hit in so long that they can’t recognize one when they have it. hopefully enough fans will write to support this great series, that ABC will have to reconsider their horrible decision.

I was so disappointed when Pushing Daisies was cancelled, and now I hear that The Unusuals will be as well. I don’t really understand why networks like ABC won’t give well-written shows a chance to develop and gain a bigger audience. It seems like networks are much less likely to give new shows an opportunity to attract viewers than they have in years past. Is it just me, or is this a disturbing new pattern? Meanwhile, shows that have declined in quality (or were already average to begin with — like Two and a Half Men and King of Queens) tend to stay on air for what seems like forever. It’s upsetting. If there’s any chance for The Unusuals to be picked up for another season, I hope it happens!

I first saw this show episode 7. I was hooked, and had to go find the other episodes, then had to go back and watch the ones i had already watched. I understand the need to save money, but, God, I hate reality tv!! Do people really watch that stuff? I seriously shut the tv off and read a book, rather than watch that crap. Its not often that a show comes along and catches me like “the Unusuals” did. Please, oh mortal despots of ABC, dont cancel this show !! It is a real shame that this show is cancelled. It is the only show that my family and I watch on this network. I don’t think it was advertised very well. Another problem was that the show would be on then go away and then be on again. Once this show is gone there will be nothing on that network that my family and most of my friends will watch. It replaced all the dumb reality shows that are on that most of the people I know are tired of.

Everyone I know liked the quirkyness of the characters. The show was funny and really well done. Why get rid of a show before it has a real chance of getting more people hooked. I was hooked with the first episode as well as many other people I know. It is just a real shame. It is a really really good show. PLEASE PLEASE do not be canceled

Sometimes you are in agreement with the Network guys who make the decisions on the life and death of a TV show. In the case of the Unusuals, I believe that they just made a bad decision. Who knows, maybe they were all stoned when they met to decide the fate of this very enjoyable series, with a set of actors that play their characters so wonderfully. But, maybe sometimes there just is no logic in what people decide. Maybe we should bane Channel 7 WABC, until they start making some “right” decisions.
