Though the cast and crew of The Whole Truth will get to finish filming their 13 episode commitment, there’s no guarantee viewers will get to see them any time soon. Earlier this week, it was revealed that the show had been cancelled by ABC. Now, it looks like the network is pulling the legal drama from the schedule for the whole month of November.
As previously announced, next week’s episode will be preempted by the interview special In the Spotlight With Robin Roberts: All Access Nashville. The following week, the entire Wednesday night line-up is bumped for the Country Music Awards.
After that, Whole Truth is being replaced by a pair of celebrity specials. On November 17th, ABC will air 25 Years of Sexy: People Magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive!. The following week, Primetime: Celebrity Plastic Surgery Gone Too Far? will take the timeslot.
It’s unknown if The Whole Truth will return in December or if ABC will keep the remaining nine episodes sitting on the shelf.
What do you think? Will ABC air the rest of the The Whole Truth episodes soon, over the summer, or never?

I’ve watched three of the shows and enjoyed all three. I hope it continues to air. I’d buy the series if it came out on DVD.
I loved this show and the characters. It is very hard to start watching tv shows and then have them taken off of the air without any notice. I think that they should leave them on for the whole season and then see what the outcome will be. Maybe if they changed the time slot or day of the week, it might make a difference and more people would watch. At least give it a try before saying (after only 3 shows) that it won’t work.
I’m a big Rob Morrow fan; but I just don’t like him very much in this role. Sorry Rob. Yet, I’m still a big fan of The Whole Truth and I would love to see it remain on TV. I’m sure we’ll see the remaining episodes — as filler probably. Just so you all know, every TV show that I really like is doomed. Eight of my favorite TV shows got the axe last season.
At the end of the last episode aired, ABC ran a promo that said, “Watch for more episodes of “The Whole Truth” on ABC! That was 2 days after they announced the cancellation.
I know that I will not be watching ABC during The Whole Truth time slot after it is off the air, as I am not interested in any of the trashy stuff they will have on (other than the Robin Roberts special). Why would people be interested in all the garbage where people don’t dress appropriately? I am so disappointed in so much of what is on TV.
I agree that it is hard to watch any new network show as the good ones always get cancelled. I loved this show!!
I won’t miss this show. I have enjoyed the main actors in other projects, but this show just didn’t work. The chemistry was low, and Rob seemed like the only living actor surrounded by zombies. Based on the replacement shows during sweeps, ABC is hurting big time. CBS is killing everyone this year.
Yup, replaced with dumb and dumber…
I’m almost afraid to watch any new shows in fear they will get pulled just as I get used to watching them. It’s happened so many times now.
I absolutely LOVE this show!! I am so dissapointed that it’s being cancelled. ABC is the worst when it comes to giving shows a chance. I have a really hard time watching TV at 9pm on a Wednesday night, but I watched once and have set my DVR when I can’t watch it live. I hope to get to see the rest of the episodes!!
I havent actually had a chance to watch the show but the commericals always caught my attention. (which is rare) It looks like a very promising show, it’s a real shame ABC didnt give it more time to get a following.
I would like to see “The Whole Truth” stay on TV. It is a good show. What ever happened in the week of 10/13/2010? I didn’t get that episode was their an episode and where can I see it. I also would like to see the remaining 9 episodes televised. The networks are constantly doing this to shows that might have a chance. Wednesday night is a tough night because you have a great line-up on CBS & NBC try Thursday or Sat.
The fourth episode was supposed to air that week (10/13/2010), but it got pushed back to the following week (10/20/2010) so they could air a special about the rescue of the Chilean miners.
This is my favorite new show. Please give it a chance. I absolutely love it. As a matter of fact I think it is the best new show on the air. I look forward to it!!! You have to give it time. A lot of my friends never even heard of it I am spreading the word.
Most likely if at all, it’ll be over the summer on Saturdays. Remember Three rivers? It just always figures good shows get axed. Why is that? Better off ted, The forgotten, surviving suburbia?
My husband and I love the show. Networks don’t seem to give a shows much of a chance these days. It’s a good thing they did in the day of Stenfield, huh? It was a show that started out slow.
