I am a paramedic and have and have been for over 20 years.I have to admit that at times this show gets a little …..well…hokey? But all and all I love it! Its the only show I watch. This show is a breath of fresh air. If you cancel it I guess I will just stop watching T.V. again like usual. Dont cancel it! Woody

This show is REAL LIFE….I see this everyday in my line of work. Nothing is more rewarding than saving someones life. Trauma needs to come back, don’t cancel it.

do not cancell trauma i am a medic and it is the only show that show this profession as real as it is. it is the only show that i watch the other medical show suck.

you know what i am so tired of getting into a tv show and then out of now where its gone. The people who say that TRAUMA sucks needes to get a life. This is the best show ever this show is the best. Everytime i watch it , it leaves me wanting more one hour just is not long enough. But its a hell of alot better than nothing. This show needs to be put back on. I know this show will be the best and how can you base it off of ten shows. If this show does not come back on nbc will loose a lot of money and then hopefully another channel can pick it up and make bank with it. This show needs to be put back on. You can not leave people hanging like this. WE WANT MORE AND MORE.

Way to go NBC cancel another great show. I love TRAUMA. (& HEROES by the way). Have never missed an episode. I can’t get in to Mercy…to slow moving for me. That’s what I hate about NBC start a great show & never give it a chance. Same thing happened to me with JOURNEYMAN. Get the other junk off the station I mean really the Thurs nite line up sucks for NBC…NEVER watch any of those shows…I’m a ABC/FOX person on Thurs nights.

Shave Taylor’s face though. we have bbp issues and don on PPE to protect ourselves, we cannot have beards however light to block the seal. SHAVE handsome boy. Keep it real! We love trauma and all the shows, people, WAKE UP, we need Trauma to stay in SF! Keep the love, keep our economy and many of their jobs too! Let NBC KNOW by going to their website and writing them!

It is kind of hard for me to start watching new shows because every time I find on I like it gets canceled like Southland and The Unusuals and many others. The networks need to just stick with shows that are good but maybe not having a great start because people will come around when they see it’s going to last. How many shows have been on tv guides best shows u are not watching and end up becoming hits and that’s because they gave people time to get to see it maybe during replays when the shows they are watching are old. With trauma they talk about ages 18-whatever age ratings and lets put it up against WWE Raw and the CBS line up smart move. I plus networks need to stop moving shows to different time slots so people loose the shows because its on at a different time and it was off for a week or two they need to realize people are busy and have a lot going on it is hard to keep track of all the changing they do. How many Fox shows did people forget about because of the World Series they watch a show on Fox but the games were on so they go to a different channel and get interested in a new show there and forget about a new show on Fox that has been on a few weeks and its just bad.

I don’t understand NBC -everytime they get a good show they cancel it for foolishness. That is why I am a CBS fan but came backto NBC for Trauma. Poor judgement. Good shows that make people see the good in people is cancelled for stupid shows. Whoes making the decisions at the top tells you they have no judgement or sense.

I think its a shame that they would cancel “Trauma” especially with actor Derek Luke. What were his directors and producers thinking about allowing Trauma to be put in the Monday night, slot with so many competition. It’s really hard to get new viewers when they’re already addicted to another show. I’m assuming that most of the viewers from the others shows haven’t even looked at “TRAUMA” once. Move it to another time or day. I don’t want to see it cancel. Another problem is allowing someone in the series to portray being gay which really causes a the show to be cursed. The “TRAUMA” tv series should be kept clean and positive.

I think tha trauma, will improve. Once they get into the attributes of the character’s strengths it can be dynamic. The writers will eventually get the pulse of the city and the flavor of the bay area. The San Francisco Bay area is a gold mine. Its time to invest in it and watch the show grow into a strong representation of the city’s flavor. Give it a chance it not just about $$$. Its about making a product work. I remember ER, Ben Casey, Trapper John, Streets of San Francisco. Writers get into the characters! The aforementioned took a while to catch on… Be patient… Watch and See!

Beyond the natural tendency to play voyeur to my own neighborhood (“Hey, there’s my apartment!”), there is no stickiness to this plot. I think about how much television has changed since ER first aired in 1994 (95?), and I wonder if this type of show will ever have the same sort of legs it once did, especially without heavyweights like Spielberg and Crichton behind it.

As much as I love seeing San Francisco in HighDef (how are more shows NOT filmed in this town – the city is gorgeous from every angle!), the exterior shoots detract from the development of compelling, heavyweight story lines – not to mention that the idea of airlifted rescue transport from downtown San Francisco is absolutely preposterous.

Admittedly, this show is getting better each week, but the depth at which the pilot set the original bar means these modest gains have yet to get the show above a threshold of “watchability” that would suggest it’s going to get picked up after the Christmas break. Journeyman was a more compelling show, speaking of things shot in San Francisco, and look at what happened to that NBC drama.

Sigh… still waiting for somebody to do something watchable and set in San Francisco .

The Pilot episode was awful.
The 2nd episode was far more interesting and actually was half decent.
The 3rd episode was even better still.

The problem with the show is that without the action, the story dies. Simple fix is to beef up the story and let us know the characters better. Hopefully Trauma will at least get a full season.

this show is terrible. I dont know any paramedic that acts like these bobo’s. cancel the show and hope that these actors can salvage a career. seriously, crying when a complete stranger dies is plausible, but not the way the blonde girl did it. completely rediculous.

For a network on it’s last legs, they will kill the show instead of fixing the bad elements and put on another POS reality show. Chuck as a half season, Life is gone, this network is catering to the wrong demographic.

After watching the pilot and second episode, I am willing to give this show a chance. I can overlook the glaring inacuracies and chalk it up to dramatic license.

The pilot was underwhelming, but most pilots are. Lots of time needs to be spent developing characters and the writers are trying to do so without chewing up too much story time. The result is that the characters start out as cliches and caricatures of themselves. This is a sin that can be forgiven, but only if the writers move on quickly.

The second episode was better. I thought it was going to be formula driven, set up obvious injury, deliver obvious injury, but the writers actually did an OK job of throwing curve balls out there.

Like the above poster, I’ll give it one more week until I decide for sure if it’s a pass or a fail.

Granted: A) Opinions are as historically said…and they usually stink; B) whatever happened to giving a show a chance?

I am so tired of these Babies whining because they didn’t like the first five minutes…that is what the other buttons on that remote are for!

I beleive in at least trying three eps of a given show before deciding — and many new shows have improved dramatically (pun intended!) in that period. Others have continued to fail miserably. On the other hand, I personally have found NO interest in ‘Law and Order’, yet it has become a major franchise without me…so get over yourselves since you may be in the minority!

I think it’s a great show. I’m a fan of a lot of the cast from other things (Billy Lush, Kevin Rankin and Derek Luke). I really hope the ratings improve so that NBC will keep the show. I’m really enjoying it.

I actually liked it. This was on my dvr for a couple of days as I was beleiving all the negative reviews without watching it. Big mistake!! This show is great has the potential to really be something big! I suggest people give it a shot. Forget the negative reviews and try it yourself.

Wow…the show is unwatchable or at best “appropriately named”. Like its storyline it was one long traumatic wreck of a story. It’s amazing what bad scripts and bad directing can do to good actors. I consider Cliff Curtis (Rabbit) one of the best actors of his generation but man, does he blow chunks in this show. I found myself hoping he would get killed. If this show is to survive his character must get a much needed brain transplant or be killed off. The fact is the writers must be replaced. Where did they find them? Old episodes of “CHiPs”. The EMTs having sex in their amubance? The idiot texting speedracer? The exploding truck? Please I can’t go on. This show is one cliche after another….Don’t kill the show I want my girl Aimee Garcia to get a chance for a career but Trauma needs some triage STAT!

Show is weak. Acting is weak. Story lines weak. Rabbit character is annoying to say the least. Could they tryany harder to convice us this guy is supposed to be cool and dangerous? Give me a break. The whole car scene was a joke when he was driving like an idiot through the streets of SF. “Did you ever see the movie Bullet?” Give me a break. That guy is the furthest thing from Bullet and that scence can’t hold a candle to the Bullet car chase. The guy who was texting while driving…Really, you couldn’t find a real actor to play that part? His poor acting was only surpassed by the guy who kept screaming that “It was that guy’s fault, he was texting while driving”, and then to actually attempt to punch the guy…wow, he was horrible.

Jamie Sheridan was probably the only believable character and I think he even cringed with some of the lines he had to speak. If they got rid of the Rabbit character or replaced him with someone who could actually pull off the cool guy routine, it might be a bit better, but the writting has to improve.

This show is destined to fail and by all means, let it die now.

flatlined……show’s not going to make it. don’t like any of the story lines. nbc don’t even bother showing the 13 episodes. i don’t care about rabbit’s brush with death and he has to prove he can’t die. derek luke’s character? that chick from the 1st season of damages?? sorry, both no.

I think it is a great show. I hope that they keep it. But of course we are talking about NBC they do so of the most stupid decisions that any cable network can make.
