I love this show….I Can’t say how much I enjoy it.
My husband is a milatry veteren who lost his leg overseas and is usuallynot good with these kinds of shows. It’s hard for him to watch blood a grafic medical stuff
but he enjoys it as well. It’s nice, We both agree on mondays chuck than our trauma!

My fiance and I are both EMTs and love the show it is great people can see what it is like to be an EMT and what we go through. Our 8 yr son loves the show as well he know and understands what his dad and I go through and how we save lives and how sometimes no matter how hard we try we loose some as well. Please keep this show running it is the best one on nbc !!!!!!!

Actually, cutting the budget is a good thing. OK, big helio crash, lots of fire. Lots of COST! But that does nothing for character development, relationships and dialogue. I was an EMT in San Francisco and I REALLY loved seeing “THE city” again. Plus, I can identify with the characters. I’m thrilled to see it returning. The networks need to find a new way to measure viewership. Just asking the Neilson families to log programs doesn’t cut it any more. There are too many different ways to ‘view’ a TV program. I’m currently in EMT training again, this time in Washington state. So I’m recording the programs I want to see. Opps, I guess that doesn’t count. Right, NBC? You keep TRAUMA, ditch MERCY (did I mention I’m also an RN?) and everybody will be happy.

Please bring back “Trauma” as it is so very interesting, the characters are diverse, the plots are varied, and there is a warmth to the show that is missing in many shows today.
I have talked to many viewers who feel that this cancelation is a mistake for such a popular show. And, I must add that women of all ages adore Rabbit! He has a sex appeal that is like no one else’s.
Please, NBC, reconsider!

Trauma is much better than Chuck. I always made sure that I was watching it on Monday nights. Now I have to watch CBS. NBC does not have any other good shows in primetime to watch, besides Mercy and it is getting boring. I have also went thru EMT training. And agree that their medical terms are very acurate. I hope more people find this and post comments. And NBC brings the show back. Take Parks & Rec. off or fill in Leno’s slot with Trauma.

It’s potentially a much better show than Mercy. I liked all the action and special effects–made things exciting. And, of course, I love Rabbit. Maybe NBC’s need for more programming to fill in for the canceled Leno show will give Trauma the chance it needs. I hope to see it again after the Olympics.

I absolutely love love Trauma!! I am in nursing school and can tell you that the situations that occur and the medical terminology is current, unlike a lot of what went on on ER! I really hope that they dont cancel this show, its great stuff and a big relief from all the lowly reality tv that airs lately!!

Trauma must continue, it is a great opportunity for viewers to see what these brave men and women go through each day. It is way better than any medical show I have ever seen. I am currently going through EMT school and this show truly helped open up my eyes to see what they go through every day. Please give this show a chance and don’t change the characters they are all amazing and are perfect for this show.

This show is amazing
my family and i watch it religiously
it is the only thing we ever watch on NBC
It reminds me almost of ER which was another of our favorites
if this show is canceled i can honestly say we will no longer be supporting NBC
they obviously do not realize a good show
just because it isnt a reality show or a “comedy”(that usually are not even funny)
doesnt mean it wont work

I have enjoyed the show, but the one thing that bothers me is that every week there is a ‘CNN Breaking Story’ level emergency. How many times do we need to see a disaster triage area setup – every week? Time to tone down the huge events and focus on the day to day operations. Tell the stories of the average day. So I was happy to read “They also started focusing more on personal stories and less on expensive special effects.” And if Jay Leno going back to late night opens up a bunch of slots, NBC should clearly consider giving a more character based series a chance. Give it a 2nd season!

I think the only reason this show didn’t pull more viewers from the beginning was because it was up against ‘Dancing with the Stars’ which not only etablished before it started this season, but started the 2009 season before ‘Trauma”. Once I noticed that the Monday episode could be seen Friday night, I know longer had a conflict, but realize now that watching it on Friday didn’t get include in the ratings. I’ve watched every episode on-line at least three times. I love the show, I love the characters and how the characters are being developed. Please bring it back!

What is the matter with network programming? This is a great new show, with solid characters with quirks and interesting personalities, plus the San Francisco scenery.

As an avid TV and movie viewer, I for one am darn sick and tired of television execs cutting a decent show after just a few airings. How is show to ever gain an audience, if they toss if after less than 20 episodes?

I’ve got news for you people, I moved to Dish Network and DVR (I have a 350 hour box) so that I can record a season – and wait to see if it gets picked up, before I get invested in another show that is just going to be cancelled. If it gets the ax, I don’t bother to watch it.

Chuck is the only thing that’s keeping me watching NBC this spring – and if they blow that, I don’t know if I’ll bother to even channel surf NBC after that.

Don’t cancel Trauma. The networks are flooded with “reality” shows. Some viewers do not relish watching people fighting for food in mosquito filled mud pits. Perhaps it is not E.R. or Chicago Hope but give the characters time to develop. The fact that it does not have a regular time slot makes it difficult to gain a following.

I think Trauma is a great show! I didn’t help the ratings, though, since Mondays are busy and I watched the episodes on Hulu. I especially liked the last episode. I think it keeps getting better and, obviously, more episodes allows for more “character attachment”. I personally like it better than ER because you get the street side and still a bit of the hospital treatment. Very good. Hope they keep it.

I think Trauma is a fantastic show, and people should give it a chance. There are not many great television shows, and potientially good ones are always cancelled. The case with The Listener, fantastic show, Cancelled. So much money is poured into the same comedy shows! Invest a little in good ones! All there ever is on the few big networks are talk shows and the same old comedy shows, which are good but how many shows are going to come up that have the same kinds of humor. Kyle XY, cancelled. There are so many good shows that are just thrown out. I hope networks get a brain, TV is getting boring!

Keep TRAUMA on! I don’t watch very much on NBC, Law and Order, Mercy and Trauma. Most of the rest is garbage. Like someone else said early, we just got a chance to get in to Southland and its cancelled. I am just getting fed up with the ABC, CBS and NBC and am starting to watch a lot more cable networks.

trauma is one of the greatest shows on tv! if you need to make cut backs, than don’t use the helicopter in every scene. you should also delve deeper in to the relationships of the charachters. also, from the public safety side, include more interactions from all sides, dispatch,police and fire too. In the system where I work, we all tend to hang out together, even after the day is done. you could really make an awesome drama of this. please don’t give up on it! there are sooo many situations in this field that can be interesting and even comical. don’t let a hit show go when you have it!

I think Trauma is an excellent show and one that suffered because it’s really a 10PM drama that has suffered because Jay Leno is taking up so much space for good adult drama. I surely hope they will reconsider for more than 3 episodes. But that’s a good sign. Good ensemble dramas need time to build an audience.

The script was witty, the characters perfect and the screen play well done. They took ER and gave us trauma. Now they are taking Trauma and leaving us with those other trashy medical shows I refuse to let in my living room. What next?

Keep Trauma alive. I really liked the show. My brother also liked the show. They are cancelling shows to early in my opinion. They started the series and then ended for the holidays (like everyone else does) and then decided it wasn’t worthy to be put back on the schedule, according to who. I think alot of people were watching. I think they should put it back on and see what happens after the show has been on for a whole season and then decide. REMEMBER IT IS US LITTLE PEOPLE THAT MATTER NOT THE EXECUTIVES. If we like it keep it. It is that simple.

I’m really upset about the future of Trauma. It is a very good show. My husband and I really looked forward to it. My son is a parametic and said some of it IS true to life as alot is not, but still very interesting. He even liked watching it and that is his profession. Why do they always take off the good shows. Take off some of the stupid sitcoms out there. I hope NBC will consider trying it another season.
