I remember flipping through the channels one night when I came across a Trauma preview and thought it would be a great show to watch. Unfortunately, I never knew when it aired because I watched all the CBS shows like: Criminal Minds, NCIS, and CSI and it probably conflicted with one of those. It wasn’t until I became a Netflix member and saw Trauma and remembered that preview so I watched it. After the first episode I was hooked to the point that it instantly became an addiction and I watched all of season one in 2 evenings! That show is AMAZING!!! The characters, the story line, the effects….all AMAZING!!

So I go to the NBC network to find out that it has been cancelled…wth!!! Noticing all the shows on this network that still remain I have come up with the conclusion that NBC is a reality show JUNKIE!! I understand that reality shows are big “right now”…but they will eventually be phased out and it’s real stupid to have your whole network standing on reality shows. NBC better hopes nothing ever happens to the writers of Law and Order because that is the leg they will have to stand on when people stop watching reality shows.

NBC obviously can’t handle intense shows like Trauma. Whoever wrote Trauma…you should have taken it to CBS where I’m sure it would still be aired and doing great like all of the rest of their drama shows. I wonder if there is anything the people can do to get CBS to pick it up…CBS knows drama.

My husband & I liked ‘Trauma’ so much that we bought the entire season on DVD. Even though we can now enjoy the episodes again, the series finale was really disappointing. — As is so often the case with idiotic decisions made by the big networks, they totally left the fans hanging. If they ordered extra episodes, why couldn’t they write a decent “ending?” It was a real letdown.

You get a good show on the air, then you cancel it? I really enjoyed this show. If I missed an episode on tv, then I would watch it online. The least you could have done is switched it up in your lineup to see if the ratings would have increased before you cancelled it. It’s no wonder why people watch other networks!

I have to say that Trauma was the first show in a long time that I could not wait to see. It had the right balance of action, medical drama and personal issues. I loved it all.
I was so ticked when I found out it was cancelled. It is every bit as good as ER and Third Watch but it had more to offer in the sense that every episode was like an ER finale.
Sure it was expensive to make, but It had to pass the budget test or it would not have been more than a pilot. Seriously, Bring it BACK,

I don’t normally keep track of what is or is not cancelled, but I just discovered Trauma was cancelled . I watch most of my shows on tv, that being said I used to look forward to Trauma. It was as far as I’m concerned every bit as good as ER or Third Watch. I enjoy as do many of my friends character driven dramas. Just when you don’t expect something crazy would pull me to the edge of my seat. I agree with every thing Kim said.

Now listen people, you should find a way to rate the ratings of people watching Trauma on-line. Most of my shows are on CBS. But I watch alot of shows on-line. I thought Trauma was fresh & exciting. I liked all of the Characters like I do on NCIS. Now I do watch all the CSI shows also, but I don’t like ALL the characters. I bet if you put Trauma on during the Hiatus of the other shows on during the Fall, your ratings would shoot thru the Roof. Right now everything is a repeat, now Flashpoint came back as a summer show why can’t Trauma.

I agree..if they put some money into marketing this and Mercy, which are my two favorite shows their ratings would rise. They put all their marketing budget into pushing that stinker Leno 10 o’clock time slot and it tanked. They neglected ALL other shows thinking they were going to get a big pay day. What these networks don’t get is, we like comedies, we like dramas. I adore dramas. But I HATE reality shows..for the most part with the exception of the Amazing Race.

I think Trauma rocks, and it more than fills the void that was left after ER ended – it’s high energy and edge of the seat fun . . I was devastated when I heard the news it was canceled, even my 85 yr old mother loves it . . I hope NBC decides to keep it coming . . because the shows the last few weeks have rocked . . and now with Nancy’s Dad on board in the ER; I’ve got to see what happens there . . keep it coming !!!!

NBC would be making a mistake for not continuing the series. NBC has a hit but are unaware that it is realistic, exciting and suspenseful. Great cast and Writers. Keep the Series going at least for the Second Season. Loyal Audience.

I was shocked when Trauma came back. I was expecting to see some remaining episodes that didn’t air on a dvd set in a few months but what’s this? NEW EPISODES? Everyone said this show was confirmed D.O.A! From the start this show was said to be horrible but accept for a few people who said the accident/EMT/etc scenes weren’t technically accurate enough – the people tuning in love the show. My only complaint with the tech side is the amount of ‘touching’ they do with their gloves on otherwise I love the show… and I don’t typically like the hour long drama shows on network tv.

If only NBC would ASK THEIR VIEWERS if we like the show?!?! Maybe then they would invest in the writers/story more?

Oh and Anastasia Griffith doesn’t hurt my tuning in either

Please keep Trauma on for good. This is the best show on television right now. There are to many of those reality shows on right now. Writers need to be careful to not vary from the original story lines too far. A small change can really ruin a series. For example, Ghost Whisperer was my favorite show for several seasons then when Melinda’s husband mysteriously reappeared; as a doctor no less, it was so very unbelievable. There was something exciting about him being a paramedic and Melinda owning the little antique store; they were so normal but now it is so not normal. So please keep Trauma on the air.

Was happy to see Trauma has returned and recorded it last night. I think that I, like a lot of people, prefer to record TV shows and view them at my leisure. It would be nice if Trauma got renewed or picked up by another network willing to give it more of a shot. It’s disappointing to see shows with lower ratings stay on the air on other networks while this one gets axed by NBC. With the multitude of cable channels out there now I would think Trauma could survive somewhere.

This is a really horrible show…I just watch it for Derek Luke. His character and his partner are the most interesting and most memorable. I don’t even know the others names or their stories and I’ve been watching faithfully since its inception.

It’s kinda like a poor attempt for a Grey’s Anatomy for firefighters. The show is actually more like a Law & Order procedural. The “traumas” that cause them to come out and whatnot just come out of nowhere at random times. Definitely not a fan of this show but definitely a fan of Derek Luke’s so I’ll continue to tune in.

The thing about this show is that the pilot was HORRIBLE in regards to the helicopters colliding. After that, the show got better and better, and I think that’s why the ratings were bad but are now slowly but surely getting better; because people decided to watch the rest of the season and are now actually liking it. That’s my 2 cents though, hopefully this show is brought back because I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Please keep this show. As a former trauma nurse, it was SO refreshing to see and enjoy a show of this quality. The professional/personal interactions were realistic, interesting to watch the relationships develop. The “real life” intensity of the trauma situations was almost palpable and very enjoyable. Please keep this show on air. This is a medical drama that appeals to both me and my husband. The show is fast paced enough to appeal to men and there is enough underlying passion and drama to keep women happily watching through the intense rescue scenes. We are both glued to the screen with each new episode – no talking – and we have DVR! We rarely pause and rewind because we have not missed anything – very few shows command our attention as much as Trauma — We both love Rabbit (for different reasons of course)

As a former EMT I couldn’t agree more with RN BSN TNS CFRN. I’m so sick of all the crap on tv. Trauma had talent with people that actually act. What a concept! We have too many “reality” shows filled with moral decay that are not “reality” for anyone I know. My wife and I love Heros, but Trauma was the one show I could really relate with and truly enjoy. I was such a huge fan of The Black Donnellys another show you had and you cancelled that.. I am so disappointed that Trauma has not been renewed. What a great group of actors showing what our responders do and are up against. Watching silly situation comedies have run its course. Also so many Law and Order and SVU programs are very tiring. I’m for Trauma, please put it back on.

What’s the point in watching tv?! Every time I start getting into a show it gets CANCELLED! Take these dumb REALITY shows off and put back on shows WORTH WATCHING!!!!!! We are the viewers, shouldn’t WE have a say?!!!!! Me and my husband couldn’t wait for Monday nights. We knew TRAUMA would be worth watching. Please keep it on.
