A historical drama, Turn: Washington’s Spies didn’t do very well in the ratings in its first season and the numbers got even worse last year. AMC has continued to renew it anyway. Will the ratings rise or fall even lower this time around? Cancelled or renewed for season four? Stay tuned.
Taking place during the American Revolutionary War, Turn: Washington Spies follows a group of friends who become spies and help turn the tide of the war. The cast includes Jamie Bell, Seth Numrich, Heather Lind, Daniel Henshall, Kevin McNally, Burn Gorman, Samuel Roukin, JJ Feild, Meegan Warner, Angus MacFadyen, Ian Kahn, Ksenia Solo, Owain Yeoman, Nick Westrate, Idara Victor, John Carroll Lynch, and Stephen Root.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s chances of staying on the air. The higher the ratings, the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available.

For comparisons: The second season of Turn: Washington’s Spies averaged a 0.22 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 778,000 total viewers.
What do you think? Do you still like the Turn: Washington Spies TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a fourth season?
Turn is a great show ! I am not happy with the time slot , so of course folks are DVRing it . Please continue this important show .
I meant to chime in on the previous suggestions of getting more promotion for this show. A season 3 Marathon? At least showing the previous week’s episode at a decent hour? IAdvertise on AMC sister stations like BBC America during high volume shows like DoctorWho?
I think that the NBA playoffs have not been good to TURN. Hope the % increase with 7+ DVR ratings and as playoffs end. This has been the best of the 3 seasons, imho! Please RenewTurn…it truly is a dynamic; high quality historical fiction at its finest!
This season is the best so far but one of the problems with it is the lack of promotion. It also displays on many tv screens to dark, and is hard to see especially with interior shots, and night scenes. My own parents who were predisposed to watch it, finally gave up because they said they had trouble seeing what was going on. My advice is to fix these things, and give Robert Rogers more air time as he is a scoundrel people find funny, and interesting.
Please, please renew! I had no idea how historically accurate the show is. If they promoted the excellence, the accuracy, the beautiful people (Peggy), that male audience will follow. Please don’t give up, Turnies!
My husband and I love this show. We hope it continues.
My husband and I love this program. I sure hope it continues.
I really love Turn:Washington’s Spies. The acting and the historical stories. Simcoe, George Washington, Hewlett,Woodhull.. all of the actors are great! Love it! So much better to see American History as it took place. Hope to see the show Renewed!!!
I love this show! I didn’t discover it until the beginning of the second season because I didn’t have cable or satellite TV.
I tell everyone I know, at least those who have a passion for the history of our country.
Keep it alive, and as historically accurate as possible.
This is a great show. Please renew.
TURN is the best historically based program on television right now and should be renewed. The production values, attention to detail are excellent, but most importantly, it brings little known but crucially important history to life.
Renew please.
I would love to see this show renewed for many years to come. It’s one of my top gotta watch shows each week. I have ancestry on both sides of this war which makes it all the more interesting for me. And although the personality they have to J.G. Simcoe is a far cry from reality, he really does make a terrific villian for tv. I’ve bought every season on DVD and will continue to do so.
This is a seriously good show. With all the drivel on TV, these days, this is one program, outside of PBS or the History Channel, which is a visual and thematic powerhouse. The only reason it doesn’t do better in ratings is because AMC only promotes it to the networks that touch that demographic. It should be more widely promoted. Fabulous show. In today’s political climate it’s nice to see, and important to see, how we all got here.
Renew it please! Excellent series!!
