twenty good years past TV show

TV show description:
A sitcom featuring the friendship between a judge (Jeffrey Tambor) and a semi-retired surgeon (John Lithgow).

One of the few things that they agree on is that they probably only have 20 good years left to live. The complete opposites agree to live each day to its fullest with often unexpected results and to the frustration of their kids Hugh (Jake Sandvig) and Stella (Heather Burns).

Series Finale:
Episode 13 – John’s Old Lady
This episode did not air and no description is available.

What happened next?
The series was pulled after only four episodes due to low ratings. A revival or return is highly unlikely.

Behind the Scenes

Despite a talented cast, the series received mostly negative reviews from critics. The majority of viewers seemed to agree.
Despite similar ratings (but better reviews), NBC stuck with fellow freshman sitcom 30 Rock. The ratings improved and it became one NBC’s few hits of the season.
Production on all 13 episodes were completed but nine haven’t aired and the series hasn’t been released on DVD either.
