I love this show. I’m really hoping it doesn’t get canceled. I love the fact that it relates to peoples everyday lives, and manages to make it interesting. I like that it is realistic, and still so funny and makes me think of my own friends. I hate the “reality” shows like true life and teen mom and all the other ones that air sometimes trashy people, who no one can really relate to. This is a better type of show and it’s sad it doesn’t get better ratings.

I really really love this show & I am praying it doesn’t get canceled because I’m tired of seeing the same shows like teen mom & such on MTV (Not saying I don’t like them) I just want to see something different & this is different & I absolutely love this show! I hope it gets renewed!

PLEASE, PLEASE KEEP THIS SHOW!! I love this show sooooo much, its one of the only things I look forward 2 on t.v on tuesday nights. I mean come on, I’d much rather watch this than “Teen mom, or Teen mom 2″ with a bunch of kids who can’t take care of their kids, or can’t keep their boyfriends. Seriously, I love Underemployed! <3 <3 <3 <3

I hope that this show gets renewed for another season. The plot is a little dry and sometimes the episodes focus too much on s-e-x, but it is a good show with a terrific cast.

Honestly I was excited about the show at first, but after watching the first few episodes I kind of stop watching!!! Although I did enjoy the few shows I did see, I guess it didn’t draw me in and catch my attention as much as I thought it would… Normally if its a show that draws me in I make sure to watch it on the day and time it airs, or if I’m not able to I will make sure to “DVR” it , which I didn’t with this show… But with that said I think the show does have a great cast, and the potential to do better and really draw in an audience…If they tweak the format a bit to make it a more exciting I think it would make a big difference!!! But I will catch up on the episodes I did miss, and see if my opinion changes!!!

The show got my attention at first and has potential. It’s nicely scripted & brings in pop culture (like the Edward Hopper reference); in that same regard, though, you can tell that they need young fresh minds to keep it alive. Underemployed deserves a chance, but their going to have to work harder if they want to keep the viewers attention.

I saw a preview of the show and thought it was funny. “What do you mean you’re out of honey bacon bar , you little *****?”

But after giving the show a shot, I can say this show is very boring and forgettable. No wonder why the ratings are so bad.

Maybe if Canada renews The LA Complex, MTV can take over and air it on their network?

  9. JG says

The show has heart, and it’s promising. It’s not laugh out loud funny and heavy on cliches, but it deserves a chance. At least MTV is trying out good scripted shows instead of that trashy “reality” stuff…
