This crime drama debuted to a 2.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 14.09 million viewers. That represents a 16% increase in the demo over last year’s timeslot occupant, The Good Wife (2.5).

There was erosion of 13% as the first episode progressed, meaning those people tuned out before the hour was finished. That’s not a huge number but those people are less likely to return for the second episode.

These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.

  1. Kathleen Papajohn says

Unforgettable is one of the best shows of the season. I am so tired in getting invested in a CBS show that inevitabley gets cancelled. Whoever is the one who picks new shows is great. Whoever is the one who decides whether or not to allow them time to get a fanbase – not so much.

  2. Cat Schaffer says

We look forward to Unforgettable. I think that since it’s at 10pm and a work night, ppl may be hard pressed to try to get it on line then to stay up until 11. It’s hard to just go to sleep right after you watch this show, as it stimulates the mind. Perhaps if this was slotted on a Friday or even a Thurs. night, it would increase in ratings. Just a great show and it has a nice balance of personalities that keep it upbeat.

Looking forward to a 2nd season.

  3. KAB says

I love this show. Does anyone know if the last episode was on in the Boston area because I think it was preempted on Tuesday because of the New Hampshire primaries.

KAB ยป Not sure but if you missed it, I’m sure you can watch it on the CBS site. They also air crime show reruns on Saturday nights.

  4. Wolfke79 says

I’d like to see this show go one for another season. The acting is good, the storylines could be a little better, but all in all, it’s quite a good show.

  5. Charlie Schwartz says

Keep it on. Great show, great acting. Poppy Montgomery is wonderful. I watch it every week.

  6. Final Four says

I’m addicted! The show gets better every week! So much better than some of the stuff that has been on for several years!
