I taped “V” on my dvr and still have it to stay updated. Here I am viewing the finale waiting for the next season. I talk to my sis on the phone and discover its been cancelled. Excuse me for a delayed reaction but I was workin on my bachelor’s 55 old grandma. I saw the original “V” mini series on NBC when I was a teenager. I loved the new look and different take on this “V” series. Anna is so cold. Discovering Diana is her mother is the kick. The actors (Morris Chestnut so HOT!), are the best; old and new actors make this series rule. Cancelled what? Duh! I do not even turn to ABC except for the view and some news. This station finally has a series I am interested in and its “cancelled.” C’mon!!

Wouldn’t it be nice if another network picks up this terrific series? I would have been watching sooner but I didn’t know it was on until my daughter told me about it. At least it will live on as dvd’s.

this show came very close to the truth, but with a few twists. saddening to see all the major networks keep letting themselves get corrupted over a fictional product of out minds we call money.. worthless paper wins the war against free minds and free will..
and they’re not even trying to hide it lately.. it’s so obvious..

I think the new wave of television is turning viewers off. Trying to cram in more shows, shorter seasons and WAY too may reality shows. V was a fast paced, true to the original but with a lot of updated twists. Most importantly, a new strong cast that was easy to like. It is hilarious that they would cancel this and TNT brings out Falling Skies. Why would they think that will last? It can if it is given half a chance, just like V. Elisabeth Mitchell was the only well known actor on the show and had to support it until the viewers grew to love the other cast members. When they brought in Jane Balder it brought back some original fans. Marc Singer just coming back… and now nothing? I think the bigwigs stuck up in their ivory towers and fickle with numbers needs to get out of their hightower cage and see what the public wants.

This is My Favorite Show on the Earth’s Planet. I have never in my Life seen something so Captivating. If this show Cancels, it is definitely a disgrace to American Entertainment. I am all the more so Voting for it to Go for The Second Season, and Of-Course after that.

The fact of there not being enough viewers is probably because People have not heard of it before. I have spoken to many people about it. They said they haven’t Seen it.
‘ Not because this is a bad Show. In fact this is the Best thing that could ever happen to ABC. ABC’s show’s – doesn’t really quiet fit this kind of performance. Only Because this Show Overrates ABC.

Though i do “Like” many Shows on ABC. This Show “V Re imagined Series By far, situates itself higher than any other show they broadcast. Therefore, please please. Do the smart move. – once and For all, don’t Cancel something that’s so amazingly exhilarating and Thrilling. – Keep it on!!

I loved V. It got off to a slow start and I don’t think the long hiatus helped the viewership because people didn’t know when it was going to be on. It is hard on viewers when the networks put a great show on they get involved with it and then the network puts it on hiatus and then the viewers have hard time picking up where it was left off. I should probably just not bother watching the major networks they don’t know good shows if they bit them in the a%%.

Can’t believe it’s cancelled. It seems that, more often than not, science fiction or fantasy shows (Flash Forward, Persons Unknown -LOVE, LOVE LOVED IT! The Event???) get axed before they come to a satisfying closure. Makes me cautious about giving future shows in this genre any of my time.

i watched season one and yes it was slow to start with. esp since it was working up to the main ending.. all i will say im watching season 2 and its awesome. ive got season one on dvd. and buying season 2. all i will say ive converted 3 people into watching this show. and they love it. i remember the old v. so i was wary of this. but to be honest i perfer this one as it has alot more up dated stories to it and Anna is a great baddie. give it a chance.

This show got off to a slow start, but the gloves are off now and the show is getting more and more interesting.

Give it a chance with some consistent strings of time…..networks seem to be constantly moving shows, time slots and turning shows off for weeks to avoid competition or showcase other programming. NO ONE is keeping track of that these days.

If you’re like me, you let your DVR do the work for you in recording series you like.

And BTW…the rating system is archaic and terribly inaccurate.

V should return. The plot has some odd things happen but it at least should return for a series and have a proper finish. It is quite strange how the final show of series 2 was not even announced as the final here in Australia. It does make you wonder if other shows were supposed to follow in the series and it was just cut. Series 2 did have less shows than Series 1 as well.

I’m not sure how keen I would be to watch the next series they put out if they dont end this one.

While saying the above it would not want to go on and on like Lost.

I liked the original and I like the new one…but that’s probably because I like sci-fi. I also like all the actors. I’ve enjoyed Morris Chestnut, Elizabeth Mitchell, Joel Gretsch, Morena Baccarin in their other roles in other programs. But I have a feeling that if the directing doesn’t get stepped up a little bit, this show will be canceled soon. I’m amazed at how disconnected the actors seem in many of the scenes. The storyline as been pretty good and the special effects are ok but it just feels like the actors are all wasted on many of the scenes.

if the series gets cancelled i’ll erase w/o watching subsequent episodes.
the suits at abc have much to learn about their audience or running a network.

This just proves that the only place for good Science fiction shows like V, Heroes, Invasion,Etc. is the SyFy channel. If this show was on SyFy then the amount of viewers that it has would be enough to keep it going. It would also not suffer from loooong breaks between seasons. If a show like Eureka where stuck on one of the so-called major networks then it would have been canceled long ago and never allowed to find it’s audience.

Attention all science fiction show producers sell your shows to SyFy if you want them to have any chance at all of survival. The majors only know 4 kinds of shows Cops, Lawyers, Doctors, and Reality.They are good for nothing else.

I will start watching it when I am reasonably convinced it will have a conclusion.

I dont watch TV just case a show is good and shows promise to continue, I have been ripped off by networks too many times to invest in great shows only to have bumbling network handling destroy it. Mid season break’s are a prime example.

when I see it looks good that it will make it to a finish (story conclusion) I will start to watch it, till then my time goes to something more usefull.

I haven’t seen the series yet, (got the Season 1 BDs on order), but if the series is as you say in comparison with the Obama Admin and the Progs, then this should be an interesting series to watch.

It’s funny when I first saw the film “V for Vendetta” back when Bush was still Pres. the Left compared the fascist British government to Bush, but once Obama took office, the fascist British government started to look more and more like Obama’s Admin, while V started to look like the Tea Party.

I love the show. It appears to have the innuendo of how the Progressives are trying to take over our country by acting like they are here to help us while planning ways to have more power over the people as they look down their elitist nose at us. Dangle free healthcare and how they are going to take care of us when nothing is really free, there is always some motivation behind it. The Fifth Column is like the Tea Party working on opening the eyes of the people caught up in the dreaminess and lore of Obama and his empty promises and increasing debt. Yeah, the V promised “Hope and Change” too! They really just want to eat our children.

I think the VERY long hiatus will ultimately doom the V TV series. I’ve unfortunately already forgotten the plot lines of where it was going. They cancelled INVASION (the TV series) much the same way and left everyone wondering what was going to happen next and left viewers all up in the air. I don’t think I will be able to get back into the series because of fears that they will ultimately cancel it. I want a reliable show that I can count on to get caught up in the story and not worry that they will cancel it all of a sudden like they did INVASION.

Sara Connor, had SO much potential-gone
Kings- What a fantastic job they did, sure it was soap’y but a very good drama
Firefly- Do I even need to say
Flash Forward- Excellent show, intellectual and well preformed
Rome- Best Show Ever, but I do understand that it was very costly

I agree that this version of V was poorly thought out. This was demonstrated when the main character was able to penetrate a V ships high security area and kill a large amount of V’s before they had hatched, and get away with it without a problem. This was just bad writing and completely unbelievable, I can only hope that they disavow that this is even a remake of the V saga.

I think the Corporate cheese heads screwed this one show up just like they did with all the others they had. Remember Defying Gravity and how they killed an excellent program only because they never advertised it at all. Same goes with V, they don’t advertise it either and these bone heads executives at ABC expect it to survive by hopes alone. The long hiatus will kill this show, that we all know will happen, my only hope is that SyFy will pick it up and run it on their Network. There it will survive.

I was an avid follower of the 1st V. The new V is not as exciting but the more I watched the better I liked it. When it stopped airing I head it was taken off do to similarities in tactics of our present administration. This was great, exposing what is occurring in our present day system.
What personally attracts me to TV series/movies is believable technology and action. The better the gadgets the more I like it. What kills it is the soap opera mush producers have to throw in for fillers (time wasters). Save it for the Chick flicks.
A summer break?? Just when I was getting connected with this series, it stops???? Are they going to do a remake of “Amerika” too??

I am very dissapointed in the show being I also watched the original.This show is better than the first in the sense the actors are very good looking and much younger which is why it appeals to a much younger group and also the largest group of viewers in todays market.The only problem is the story to me is very weak it is based similarly to the first but some of the storylines are very common and have been used in many shows.The son of the FBi agent has a troubled relationship with his mother and so falls easy pray to the V welcoming him in with open arms.I think if they got rid of the weak parts of the story and concentrated on developing a stronger story line the show would be much better

from someone that was only seven when i watch the first V series to be now 35. i must say that i like this version . i’m not sure how long this can last but i enjoy watching each episode . i like the way they had Anna have human emotion in the season finale cause it leads me to think she can become unglued . the orignal series lacked the power story line and i remeber that from when i was a kid. this one is spreading things around morein my book. example 1 : the 5th column is considerned a terrorist group (something us Americans don’t like to hear of )and they are working in small cells . the orignal series had them in the open fighting against couple of V ships while passing out M16′s off the back of a truck. The new series has Anna is a monster ! as a viewer , i’m always look at what she will say or do next . even though some of the lines they write for her are weak . the way the role is played seems very erie . plus the red sky ending in episode 12 ..awesome ..awesome …awesome… i haven’t watched ABC,NBC or CBS since “aDifferent World” , “Cosby Show” …with “Spartcus” on Encore is my recent exception, but every tuesday night i’m watching “V”.. i think this is a good series and i’m hoping that this story goes for 4 seasons cause right now it’s fun to watch .

It is NOT implausible, science fiction becomes real science every minute now, look at cloning! I have a lot of friends who watch this show religiously and we would all hate the network for canceling it! Happy town is really good too, a mystery within a mystery, MY GAWD, lose the reality and keep some decent shows alive. We all live in reality, don’t need to see it on tv.

I think V is the best thing that’s on TV. Add a major big screen name to the cast and ratings will shoot up. They need to give the show some publicity. Have the cast members on Ellen or some other big name show . Regis and kelly. I hope they don’t cancel it!

Well, even though I understand that a handful of people won’t convince ABC to continue this series (as I would hope they would). I escpecially like this series, not giving much thought to the original (which I have seen most of), but it is a decent show, maybe not “great”, but for us followers, it is good enough to look forward to. First off, I can’t really remember much of the original series other than the effects were horrible (good at that time tho!!). I like the fact that it is, somewhat, believable… minus the reptile part… (come-on… the aliens are the same as one of the most feared creatures on our planet???), but the premise is basically believable.

I am not one of those sci-fy fans that likes everything wierd and scy-fy’y, but… I LOVE the V series, I wish that Riverworld would keep going (everyone seen the pilot for this? if not, open your mind and watch it!!), oh.. and I forgot the 4400 series, I thought that one was decent too.

Last thought… How about move these series to Sci-Fy channel, where we would expect to see them. I mean, HOW many people in the world watch “Ghost Hunters” for more than 8 hours at a time? Sounds like they ran out of other stuff to play. I would gladly watch sci-fy channel if the mixed it up a bit!
