V needs to be kept! most amazing show ive watched in years. no the acting does not suck between the mother and son. its her way of showing she knows something more than the son actually does so the audience can see it. she cant explain due to the vest he always wears. watch the show and then talk you idiot. I hope i see this show again for a long time. like i said, amazing!

KEEP V!!! This is one of the few shows I ACTUALLY LIKE!!! I will hate the people who cancel this show if they do. Father Jack Danely is my all time favorite and would really like to see the relationships between all the characters build. KEEP THIS SHOW, I LOVE IT!!!

This V show is awful. I dont care about any of the characters. I actually hope the aliens kill everyone in the show! Why do the “Visitors” call themselves “Visitors”? The drama between the mom and her son(needs acting lessons) is terrible. Why is there a dramatic scene with everyone crying about the guy stuck on the ship? They didn’t build his character enough to validate a scene like that. Who writes these things?

Let “V’ run its 1st season!

Cutting it short, after 4 eps and a super-long hiatus, is incredibly stupid. Have a one- or two-night marathon of the original episodes, shortly prior to starting up the new ones, and run the entire 1st season.

It was nice to see a fresh view of V. However, the show is just dragging. The story should be a bit further along than it is. I would guess this is from the overload of commercials vs story time. Since they dropped the episode in mid story, they have pretty much lost it’s main viewership. I can remember the 80’s versions and…oh I said too much. Laughing

I was wondering if I was just missing it, now that I know they stopped production on this show, it sucks. I loved the way they did this show, the effects were alot better, the actors are better looking, especially Diana WOW! gone are the corney effects of the eightys, and the constant rerunning of the fly overs by the shuttles they used. Great stuff, Guess I will have to wait till March to get my Diana fix!!! Its gonna be a long winter!!!!

I love V

Yes I’m old enough to have seen the original which was something else superb but this show isn’t the same its a remake with different stories and ideas whilst keeping true to the original concept.

Please keep it on the air.

But splitting it into 2 parts is a mistake I won’t be able to remember the first 4 episodes when March comes round!!!!!!!!!!! silly idea it will lose fans

The show has potential, but there has been WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too many commercials. I counted the other night and there was 33 minutes of show and the rest was commercials! There seemed to be a commercial every 8 minutes and I found that made the show VERY hard to follow! I think a lot of people will lose interest, if they split it up the show…what a stupid idea! lol….

24 is by no means in the all-time greats. The last two seasons have been sub-par. I see better storylines in Tom Clancy inspired video games and the Call of Duty Modern Warfare game series.

I like this new V. Love the original but this new one doesn’t suck either. It should run as long as it can. God I miss Babylon 5.

The writing and acting are excellent…. it is going to be another show along the lines of the all time TV Greats such as “LOST” “24″ and others with great writing that takes time to develop…. but once it gets going it takes on a life of its own… Shows like this take an investment in your intellect and time to let it go deeper and get you through it, but ususally well worth it in th end.

I guess that rules out 98% of America. Sheesh. We’re such dumbsh*ts in this country of ours anymore. Maybe real “V”’s should come afterall.

Why would ABC possibly be foolish enough to cancel a show that is as interested as this new “V” series. It is what the USA needs to be watching at this difficult time taking place in America at this time. There are too many stupid comedy shows on as well as CSI makeovers. Give us a break. We demand something that is not boring. I hate it when the hour is over. Get rid of all the stupid dance shows as well.

this show is junk. the fbi agents act like kids playing cops and robbers, and nothing about the aliens follows any real theories. its all just crap crap crap. why did they have to remake a perfectly good show STUPID

Wow. I thoroughly enjoyed watching these two episodes. I am very sad that I will have to wait until march to see anything after the fourth. I had no idea what it was about and do not watch any television. I will be awaiting this series and really hope it is not canceled.

The first episode was a bit dull until the end…but I’ve read books and watched other shows that started out a little slow and got better fast. I haven’t watched this week’s episode yet, but I’m willing to stick it out for a bit. I think breaking the episodes up is a death sentence unless they really pick up the pace.

After watching the SYFY channels re-airing the 19 episodes of the original “V” tv series my stink-ometer is on 11! Sitting through that was pure agony! (and fun) But I do find myself missing it. I loved the mini series as a teen but I didn’t remember any of the series episodes (thank god!).

BSG had a full year between the pilot (mini-series) and season 1. So the break isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Perhaps they didn’t like how some of the episodes turned out and wanted time to redo them. At least I hope that’s what they are thinking.

Compared to the original miniseries which was one of the best uses of Sci Fi used as a way to deal with really hard real world issues for the time, and also blended in some of the best themes of Sci Fi classics of the past, This pilot was bad.

I’ll be a little forgiving as it is a pilot and they could have been just trying to do too much in too little of a time. That being said there was none of the suspense or mystery the original had. I also think it was too heavy handed bringing terrorism in yet AGAIN!

I am hoping for a BSG or T:TSCC quality, but with the huge hiatus and the problems you mention about the show direction, I am beginning to wonder if this show shouldn’t be scrapped and started over.

Keep it, Morena Baccarin is fantastic and the rest of the cast is strong. The more Sci-fi on the networks, the happier I am. Hopefully it does hold up, the pilot was very good.

The show was amazing. Just as the old V was back in the 80’s. I hope against hope that what they are planing doesn’t ruin V completely but just look at the last V series. The old V failed just after one season. ABC must look over all the mistakes of the past in order to make the version of V truly succeed

I loved it. Hopefully when it comes back next spring ot goes up against American Idol and kicsk Idols butt. I hate all reality TV and Idol most of all. V rocks!!!!
