Why is everyone so angry!!We pay for the privellge to watch,do the network exec’s think that gives us the viewers rights.NO.While in their ivory towers counting the pennies maybe someone could come up for air every so often and use a little common sense. This sucks! I cant stand TV for just this supid things. They get you hyped up for shows, you start to watch them, they pull them and don’t even end the show or announce to the ones who were watching that its over – like it didnt matter we all loved the show!!
Now I have all these questions that were never resolved. Why not squeeze 30mins of such shows instead of having shows like America Idol results show drag for one hour -> yes i have watched American Idol for all seasons but the results show should just be to the point!

I miss Vanished and it sucks that it was cancelled plus one of my other most enjoyable show on ABC, Six Degrees

Sorry to hear this show was
cancelled. It was definitely one of the better shows on TV.
It kept you wanting to tune in each week to see what was going to happen. I haven’t been like that since Melrose Place was on!!!! Maybe they
need a different group to reivew the shows.

Unbelieveable.

How do FOX expect their viewers to keep up with them when they waste their time like this? You would never, in any other business, experience that the provider treats their clients like this. It is deeply unprofessional and unacceptable.

It are decisions like these that could ultimately mean the end of FOX – the viewers know that something like this would NEVER have happened on NBC (or any other TV station for that matter).

What hurts me most, is that by the end of the day FOX will get away with this. In half a year they will launch a new hit-show, and people will have forgotten this major f**k up. The only way FOX could learn from this mistake, is if people would CUT OFF FOX until they view the last episodes of the season. Giving their viewers some sort of closure is the least they can do, and I don’t care how much it will cost them – they can think of it as trying to save a bad investment by ensuring that their clients will stay faithful.

I’m not only disappointed by the fact that they’ve cut the show – i’m disappointed by their lack of business knowledge.

Agreed! I lost track of the show when they switched nights. I found the episodes online and was excited to find out what happened. I was overly disappointed when there was no real conclusion. So what? She just stays in MA and nothing is resolved? A load of crap!

I’ve just finished watching the series online. I didn’t even know that the show exisited until this week. Fox needs to realize that sitcoms & reality shows are fun & all, but a strong series keeps people on there network. Maybe if they advertized the series better it would have gotten better reviews. This series was good & Fox did a hit & miss by canceling the wrong series again. I realize that shows like American Idol bring in alot of money before the airing of the show but most people don’t even like the show anymore & fox still keeps on producing it. Maybe 1 of these days fox will give a new show with alot of potential a fare chance.

I got hooked on QAF because of Gale Harold. I was so happy to see him in Vanished. Typical FOX to go the the Dark Side and cancel a good show. Hope we see him somewhere else. Maybe another network can pick up Vanished….

With all the rubbish on TV these days I can’t believe that Vanished has been axed. This is not a week to week show like a sitcom. This show has had me addicted from the beginning and now I will never know what happens. Us Aussies can’t even access myspace. Come on Fox at least give us worldwide some resolution to the story in some way – don’t leave us hanging like this. It’s like reading a murder mystery but someone has torn out the last few pages.

I, too, have given up on most of television. I was a fan of Vanished until they got rid of Gayle Harold. Everytime Eddie Cibrion comes onto a show I know it’s the kiss of death. Not necessarily Fox’s fault but that of the producers of the show. Prison Break, 24, Studio 60 and House are all my favorites. At least they aren’t flippin game shows.

Don’t bother waisting your time watching the final episodes. I watched the final episodes online hoping to get some conclusions. There are no conclusions to any of the story lines. I just wish that if Fox is going to cancel a series midway that they at least resolve the story lines. Even if it’s in a rushed, hurried way. As it stands, everything is unanswered.

Once again FOX has cancelled a program I had been faithful about watching. And now to hear JUSTICE has also been cancelled is really disgusting. This has happened before and I just sort of went with the flow. Figured there was nothing I could do about it. Well this time I can do something about it. STOP WATCHING FOX except for sports. And I regret that I am weak enough to need my football. I will never commit to a FOX show again. I don’t trust them to have any concern for me, therefore, I have no concern for them, anymore. They haven’t gotten to my favorite show, HOUSE, yet, but I don’t care. I buy the season DVD every year so I don’t have to bother with FOX anymore. Bye bye, you have suckered me for the last time.

“Vanished” was one of the best shows on TV, let alone on the Fox network; it rivaled “24″ for plot development & sidebar twists. It is a pity that 1) the show was canceled without notice; 2) some of us cannot viwew the on-line eposodes due to computer incompatibility; 3) the network won’t even consider a marathon for the remaining episodes. C’mon, Fox, at least give the show a decent burial; don’t leave it in the “Potter’s Field” of dead television…

The “finale” was definitely not the finale. It didn’t answer any questions and they promote the “finale” because it was the last show taped. I was trying to find an interview with the writers online to see what would have happened. This was by far the best show of the new season and I’m disappointed that they pulled it. They should have just showed the episodes online every week so the people who didn’t start watching the show could have caught up and got involved in the show. Hopefully there will be some sort of interview somewhere where they will at least tell us what would have happened! I feel cheated and I am boycotting Fox. I am still mad at them for cancelling Reunion mid -way thru!!!!

I am also a Mac user (x3 computers) as well as a content creator (writer-director-producer) who refuses to use Bitorrent since it is primarily an avenue that facilitates the stealing of intellectual property (which is every bit as “real” and “privately owned” as your Jet-Ski, folks) – even for the purpose of viewing freely available content that is NOT cross-platform compatible, such as the shows Fox posts online in that ridiculous Windows-only wrapper – and despite it’s numerous factual flaws (in the esoteric arena) I am also curious how they ended things.

Does anyone know of any sites where Quicktime versions of the remaining episodes have been posted? I made a search but couldn’t turn up anything.

I waited for two weeks see the the final epsisodes of Vanished, a very good show by the way, and checked my Tivo to make sure it was set on Season Pass for recording and find “there are no episodes” remaining. I came to this website and find out that the jerks at FOX have cancelled one of the best shows on TV. This show is and was better the Heroes! What are you knuckleheads thinking? I don’t want to freaking watch a TV show on my computer? I like to sit on my couch, relax and watch TV, so I guess I won’t be seeing the finale because I refuse to sit at my computer and watch a TV or a movie! Idiots!

I just finished watching the second to last episode of Vanished on-line and I have to way that is BY FAR the best TV drama I’ve ever seen. I’m a bog fan of Law and Order and 24 but this show has the best of both those shows combined!!!!

The writing is excellent!!! I have never seen a better written show than this one. So many twists, so unpredictable, very interesting plot…

Vanished was probably one of the best shows that challenged its audience since UPN’s NOWHERE MAN.

Why is it that the more intelligent viewers of the idiot box are left with dribble, such as reality shows?

There’s probably some sort of licensing issue that is making them not allow non-US viewers to see the show. Maybe various networks in other parts of the world have rights to air the show, and don’t want people having access to it early. Regardless, you can find these Vanished episodes on bittorrent sites and download them there. That works regardless of what country you’re in.

With all of the crap that’s on TV now, this was actually a show I got into. I don’t do MySpace, so I guess I’ll never get to see how it ends. I think we need to boycott Fox, send them email and let them know that we want it back, pronto. Well, Fox has lost me as a viewer.

This is “Reunion” all over again! They never reunited, and this series has vanished. With so few episodes to go, why couldn’t FOX make them available for affiliates to run post-midnight one night as a marathon (for possible recording), selling some ads and not disappointing all of us who can’t get MySpace downloads because of computer incompatibility? Will FOX end the next 24 at noon?

I really like this show. Started watching and faithfully watched every episode. Couldn’t wait to see what happened next. Now I’ve found out it’s canceled. You never gave it a fair chance. What about those of us that watched, why don’t we get to see the final episodes on tv???

Is there any possibility to watch the last 3/4 episodes? I am from Europe and i really liked the show. Why not show the few episodes the have. It is like a punishment, really people at FOX SUX.

they have too play the last 4 or 5 shows of xanished on tv i have a bad back and i will not be able to see the final shows i will never no how it ends that is very unfair. to the loyal views

The cancllation of Vanished shows a lot of disrespect with regard to the viewers. With all respect in my opinion this serie is even better than 24 or prisonbrak. Now as a non-American we can not see the end. Unbelievable……

They did it to me last year with Reunion and now with Vanished. Maybe I should just stop watching Fox at all.
