Vegas: Cancelled Quickly or a Big Hit?

Vegas on CBS cancelled soon or a big hit?CBS’s CSI series has been a ratings success for the network for 12 seasons now. Could their newest Las Vegas-based show, Vegas, last as long? Will it be quickly cancelled, a moderate success, or a big hit instead?

Vegas revolves around fourth-generation rancher Ralph Lamb (Dennis Quaid) who’s recruited to bring order to Las Vegas in the 1960s. This new job brings him face-to-face with Vincent Savino (Michael Chiklis), a ruthless Chicago gangster who has no plans to back down.

Jason O’Mara, Taylor Handley, and Carrie-Anne Moss are co-stars in the TV series.

Vegas will be airing opposite ABC’s Private Practice/em> and Parenthood on NBC. CBS has ordered 13 episodes of Vegas to begin.

Before you share your opinion below, here are some previews:

So, what do you think? Does Vegas look like a hit, a moderate success, or a candidate for quick cancellation? Will you tune in, DVR the show, or skip it altogether?

Shame on you for cancelling “VEGAS”! I don’t think Golden Boy will make it either. It was slow and confusing. Please bring VEGAS back–you didn’t finish anyway! Shame on you for leaving us hanging….

If you aren’t watching this show you should be. I think it is FANTASTIC! Please don’t let this be another great “normal” show that is cancelled.

This is why my family doesn’t watch CBS very often, because when a series as good as Vegas is aired and then cancelled well why continue to watch your network and find something family oriented only to have it CANCELLED!

My husband and I both enjoy the show Vegas! a lot – it is one of our regulars to watch every week. We definitely vote to keep it on the air.

We agree that the show should continue we love it. Yes we enjoy all the 60’s cars and the actors. Who cares if they have some newer than the show is portraying. We ourselves have classic 60’s cars. Sure hope the series continues! Thanks
