Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.

What do you think? Do you like the Vegas TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a second season?

Please, don’t cancel Vegas. It is a serie that we can like the good and bad boy. Dennis Quaid and Michael Chiklis are fantastic. I can feel like I’m living in Las Vegas.

I, too, love the show and can’t wait for it to be on each week but unfortunately, CBS (and any other network) doesn’t care about the ‘popularity’ of a show. They care only about $$$ and how much they can sell to advertisers. That means that you and I don’t count. Just the Nielson households who watch the show including all of the commercials. DVR, on-demand and web viewing don’t really matter to the network because they can’t sell advertisements if we skip through them. CBS compares their own shows more than they do shows on other networks and since Vegas is scoring only 1.5 for the latest episodes (on Tuesday versus Friday), it will likely be cancelled as so many other good shows have been. Let’s just hope they give us all 21 episodes instrad of cutting the episode order like they’ve done with other shows in similar situations.

I absolutely love the show! I think it is one of the best on tv! With all the garbage that is on television, this has been a pleasure to watch every week. I hope you do not cancel it. We have no interest what so ever in watching the golden boy…it’s been done so many times!
