TV show description:
This single-camera comedy follows four single guys who live in a short-term apartment complex. They unexpectedly find a kinship over their many missteps in love. Armed with a hot tub, pool-side barbecue and plenty of questionable advice, these losers in the marriage department try to help one another and impart their own brand of wisdom about the opposite sex.

Carter Thomas (Chris Smith) is the youngest of the four and the most recent addition to the group. He moved in after being ditched at the altar (mid-ceremony). After a short stay at the complex, he gets back with his ex. In the middle of the wedding, his new friends help him realize what he’s doing and and he stops the ceremony this time. Carter is now eager to re-enter the dating scene and get on with his life with some guidance from his new “band of brothers”

Gil Bartis (Kal Penn) is a small business owner who was caught having the world’s worst affair — in his own house and bed when his wife wasn’t supposed to be home. He’s hopeful for a reconciliation.

Stuart Weber (Jerry O’Connell) is a speedo-wearing OB/GYN who’s hiding his assets until his second divorce is settled. With a very healthy ego and libido, it’s tough for Stuart to keep anything hidden.

Frank Russo (Tony Shalhoub) is a successful middle-aged clothing manufacturer and four-time divorcĂ©e. He still fancies himself a ladies man and has no trouble attracting young women who want a piece of his wallet. Abby Russo (Rebecca Breeds) is Frank’s charming and attractive daughter. She’s the one positive remnant from his failed relationships.

Loved this show. Don’t understand how they can cancel this show after such a limited time. Give it a chance network exec….

so sorry they cancelled Tony Shalhoub’s new series. Yes it doesn’t have much story matter but I think it was going to get better; I will not watch CBS for anything after they did that but at least ABC has Castle and Betrayal. Betrayal is not for kids to watch but is bringing out the evils of the Chicago mob without glorifying it along the way as most mob shows do; it has actors who can relay real human emotions that people can struggle with during their lives and at least the actors are struggling with them. It isn’t a simple soap opera of garbage. Tony Shalhoub needs a better role to take on and I hope ABC grabs him up along with the other 3 actors; too much skin – not appealing.

I liked We Are Men! It was much better than Mom or Super Fun Night or Dads. It could have been given half a chance at least…

I like this show way better than say “Mom” which is a piece of crap.

That being said – the new CBS shows are mostly crap compared with Big Bang and HIMYM.

I don’t know. It seems like hangover movie without being hung-over or in Las Vegas.
And, Tony S is trying too hard to shake his Monk image. No funny lines yet. Will give it one more go.
