So you didn’t feel the show was good enough to continue, fine…….. Did anyone care that some of us loved the show? I feel we should have been given a series finale. It torks me off that I watched “What about Brian” for two seasons just to have it go bye bye. I would never have started watching it! We should have been given a decent ending!

I AM VERY UPSET, I JUST FINISHED WATCHING THE SECOND SEASON ON DVD AND CANNOT BELEIVE THAT THE SERIES JUST ENDED …..WITHOUT AN ENDING. LAST EPISODE WAS OK FOR A SEASON FINALE BUT NOT FOR A SERIES FINALE. THANKS ABC FOR YOUR “UNPROFESSIONALISM.”

what about brian brought me back to night time television, I mean I just stopped watching soaps all together ! , I got into what about brain after watching two espisodes, after that I was hooked , good cast, good storie lines, I can not believe you have decided to take it off the air. I say give it another chance and see this time what the ratings will be !

A planned bonus episode for the second season was to consist entirely of scenes where the male characters cold-cocked each other in the jaw for no apparent reason, then acted like nothing just happened. In one scene, Adam asks Brian if the Weather Channel’s ‘Local On The 8’s’ segment is about to show, whereupon Brian punches his lights out, then says “yes, I think in a minute it will”.

I agree with everybody else. What about Brian was the best show I have ever seen!!!! I can’t believe you would take it off the air!! especially when you’ve had tons of people write to you about wanting you to put it back on the air. What about Brian was a great show that I looked forward to watching each week. Why is that all the great shows get cancelled. The way that the last episode ended left you waiting for more……Put the great shows back on the air and maybe you might get a solid audience

I am from Scotland and enjoyed the show very much! Picture the nightmare scenario: I go on holiday for 2 weeks and have no idea that I would miss the last 2 shows, or I would have recorded it! Pleeeeease could someone let me know how it ended?

Brian was an amazing realistic show. The cast was great and the stories were familiar and believable. Please bring Brian back. In this day and age programming is going down the drain. We need more shows like this and a little less over the top reality that is not even real. C’mon season 3. Its never to late.

Oh, and I just wanted to add one last thing: This show was poorly advertised and the time slot could have been better. You can’t expect ratings to change if you don’t do anything differently. I’m just disappointed with the selection of shows these days that I don’t understand the need to cancel a good show and replace it with a bad show. Does anyone?

These days, with the power of the DVR, I don’t feel the need to sit in front of the tv when a show I like is aired; I simply DVR it and watch it later. But with What About Brian, it was different. I never wanted to do anything else when the show is on. My girlfriend makes fun of me for saying the same things over and over again about the show – I tell her that the actors are so good that it feels like they’re not acting, as if they are real people. You don’t find that these days in Hollywood. And the music choices for the show are phenomenal – I saw it as a venue for small independent artists to get their music heard. Grey’s Anatomy does it, why not What About Brian, right? And I love the song choices. In Marjorie’s return, they used a song called “I’m Not Sorry” that was just so perfectly placed. And although my girlfriend made fun of me for liking this show as much as I did, after sitting down through the first couple of episodes, she was hooked. We’ve been watching the DVD and she’s like a zombie now as we watch the last disc of the DVD set. I have a feeling she’s going to be upset when it ends Please sign the petition as I did! Nothing would make me happier than to have this show come back.

I’m from New Zealand too and always looked forward to Friday nights to watch What about Brian. The story moved at a good pace, nothing ever dragged on – there was always something happening! I absolutely loved it! Sux that we don’t get to find out what happens. They could at least make the last 3 episodes to tidy up the lose ends!

I’m 29 and love the show. . When I found out that the show was cancelled I was in total shock. I thought for sure it had a good rating. Seemed really popular at the time. Barry Watson Makes the show look good. He’s sexy. I hope they come up with a way to bring the show back.

I can’t believe that such stupid shows stay on the air like American Idol, Dancing with the Stars and THE BACHELOR, but a feel good comedy about friends and family gets kicked off when so many people enjoyed it. Like so many people who have posted here, my husband and I loved this show and looked forward to watching it every Monday. One of the few good things about a Monday! I started searching the web just now when it didn’t come back with all of the season premiers and am extremely sad and disappointed to learn that it’s been cancelled. I guess I’ll have to spend more time watching CW, CBS and NBC because there isn’t much left on ABC that I’m interested in.

Hi! I’m Sabine from Germany. As far as I know the series hasn’t even been on german television yet. I live in the Netherlands at the moment and luckily they broadcasted it here.
It is a great show and it is so unfair that the cancelled it. Finally there was a series that’s not so “over the top” and realistic. I love it! Even my boyfriend does… They should really think about making a third season at least to properly finish the story. It is not always about the number of viewers! They should have money enough!!

“Friends” Bad decision to Cancel this new group of great Friends and Drama. ABC has cut their own foot off with this decision. You may want to call a special meeting of the “minds” to discuss returning this show. Its grat that Brian is on Samantha who..but where are the rest of Our new “Friends” It’s a pity.

I love the show! The storyline was amazing and I invested so much into the characters. I’ve been waiting so long for it to come back, but just like everyone else, was confused at when ABC would be airing it. I think 10:00 on a Monday night was a big mistake and there was not a lot of promotion for the show. Why did ABC neglect such a wonderful series? One more time, BIG MISTAKE!

I cannot believe that there are no more episodes of What About Brian; the show has great quality, you grow to love the characters, and then… ABC stops the show!!! Don’t they realize that people from all over the world love it? I am from the Netherlands, and the people that watched the series over here, really appreciated it! But I guess it’s just another money & ratings thing… Please ABC, realise that sometimes it takes some time for people to find a series, but when they get hooked, you’ve got gold! Don’t stop now!!!

Hi, I’m from Chile and i’m a really big fan of “What About Brian?” I think that ABC it’s not on the right track, the tv shows that we get here in Chile from ABC are about 75% reality shows and nobody watches them. And people that actually like ABC’s series are tired, including me. Every time that we have a favorite series, they canceled. So people, please star sending letters and posting on their websites and forums ’cause people around the world are getting tired of this and sooner than later ABC will be stuck on a financial crisis…again. I agree it was one of the only shows ABC had going on and it’s because of their lack of continuity on night airing the show and lack of advertising for it that caused the show’s demise; not the show itself. It sure beat all the reality television being aired (don’t get me wrong, I like some reality, but with all the copy-cats, there’s way too much reality tv right now). Anyway, bring it back, set one night for it and give it a chance for pete’s sake.

PLEASE BRING BACK BRIAN!!! Just when you get into a show..they take it away. Even if they seem good from the previews..you hate to get involved for this reason. It took me until season 2 before taking a chance on Grey’s Anatomy. They show you a few episodes then something interupts the series and it’s moved or something. Brian is just as exciting as FRIENDS were. It was fun even for us ‘older’ crowds. Please ABC..give it another chance. And don’t change nights OR times once committed.

I’m also very disappointed that “What About Brian” got cancelled. I keep looking for it to return this Fall and just discovered it didn’t get picked up for a 3rd season. ABC needs to get a clue and stop with all the reality B.S. nonsense. It’s true that it doesn’t even pay to get interested in a show anymore because just about the time you get interested and devoted to it, ABC cancels it. Does anyone remember “Once & Again”…..same thing….it aired from 1999 – 2002 and then they decided to cancel it……..ridiculous!

I’m soooo disappointed that the show isn’t coming back on. The networks would rather put on crappy, so called, reality shows then give these shows a chance. I am a die hard fan of “7th Heaven”, so to see Barry Watson branching out in this mix is a treat. Someone needs to rethink this decision. Please Reconsider,and Bring the Show Back !!!!!
