Can’t believe you cancelled Without a Trace. It was one of my favorites. Love Jack, Samantha and Martin especially. This was a bad and very disappointing decision. 12.8 million viewers sounds pretty good to me! Drop Cold Case instead. Save yourself some money there. Please reconsider bringing “Without a Trace” back. Heat it up between Jack and Sam. Viewers would love that!
Love Criminal Minds, CSI New York (love Gary Senice) and CSI Miami (love David Caruso). Also love “Law and Order SVU.” (Love Elliot). Don’t touch these please!!!

Loved Without A Trace…I have been trying to catch up and in addition enjoy the
re-runs. As of this writing, I have not seen the finale show. I just wanted to know if
Poppy Montogmery chose La Paglia or the character Brian, the father of her child. Was
this ever completed or did they just leave us hanging in the air for a completion…..

I use to watch Without a Trace at first and loved it, although my favorite was Law And Order with Vincent D’Onofrio the best. Then both became almost silly in their personal problems. La Paglio acting like a nut case and then my hero, D”Onofrio, with his woman, on going serial killer case that got to me with her Bobby, Bobby. Hope they both come back like they began, D’Onofrio, the horizontal detective, and the two that made Without A Trace, great, Vivian and La Paglio.

I just got online to check to see when the new season starts for Without a Trace.
imagine my surprise when I just discover this GREAT show had been cancelled !!!
I’m heartsick. I have to admit with my work hours i didn’t get to watch the shows at the regular times. I got hooked on this show that is featured on Ion . got so hooked on this show that I got a DVR so I could record all the shows. you know you have really made a bad decision on this matter. I’m of the opinion that i will not watch any of your new shows as I don’t want to look forward to a favorite show and then have it taken away from CBS. It seems with all the different shows on cable T.V. you’d be proud to have a show on the air that people turned their T.V’s on to your station or got a DVR to be sure they didn’t miss it !!!!! Regardless.

I hate networks that end a LONG running series poorly, So poorly that that it doesn’t “close out” the series in a proper way. I mean comeon. Even if they had to air1 to 3 episodes to do it right would have been better than just cutting it off without leaving it “hanging”

I really liked this show too –Without a Trace. Cold Case is my favorite but this is good too. Glad the CSI shows are still on.
I don’t really know how the ratings are taken. I also didn’t know that comments could be made like this till I decided to see what I could find out about Cold Case being continued.

I just recently started watching older episodes and I was hooked immediatly!
I have set my DVR to record all of them. I have found that I am ONLY watching the ones I have taped. I was concerned that I didn’t have the DVR set for the right airdate date for the new season and today I found out that it is no longer on. I loved the characters each and everyone. I was never bored and I loved the way the characters showed their peronal sides. I am very sorry that this show was cancelled. It is frustrating to find shows that are not corny and I and my family are very disappointed that CBS chose to let it go.

I had No idea without a trace was being cancelled, i guess i was so inyo it, it was a great show and i myself relly enjoyed it and another good thing about it, it aired people missing and maybe if the show continued we would be able to find a lot of missing people, i think this was a bad decision, i don’t just watch anything a network puts out just because it cost to much money to run a show, i mayself if it is not a good show like (Without a trace) i will not watch it and i’m sure its not just me that thinks this way about the show . Please try to bring it back, i thought it could save lives.

I don’t understand why all my favorite shows and favorite new shows are being cancelled. And all seem to be on the CBS station. When all the new shows start this season, I will NOT be watching any that CBS puts out as all the ones I get interested in get cancelled. If they make it to the 2 or 3 season, then I will consider playing catch up with the series. But until then, I have had it with CBS!

You have made a tremendous error. First, you did not close out the series properly and that would have made sense. It was a tremendous show and you will regret not bringing it back. I can guarantee it will be a hit again with some new topics. Try it. I know you do not think I am an expert, however, some other channels have followed my advice and it worked out. Call me and let me discuss some ideas. I guarantee it will be worth your effort. If you would like me to write a show or some potent ideas, I have 5 college degrees and am a very innovative, creative, and highly articulate. Give it a shot. Show some stones. You are being too conservative, like the other, it will not even be going out on a limb. You will see I will be: let alone available asset, I will improve your ratings across the boards.Check me out. I have a 176 IQ not that it is a know all do all but it gives some data that would prove to be most useful. Go outside the box. The show had a tweak on it that no other show had and you, yourself know how good the cast was and is. I make excellent money doing things I do, but have now the availability to assist your team. Let me do it on a trial basis. What is the worst that could happen! You are consistently used to heat, well let me assist. and teach you things you do not know. I hope I have entice you enough to let your fingers do the walking. It is up to you now. Make the rght choice and talking to me will not be a waste of time, I will give you at least 1 definitely one viable idea.

I know they cancel the good shows are they are on USA, and A &E because the local stations have given in to all the stupid reality shows/game shows.
I rarely even watch the local shows any longer.
Glad I have cable.
But if people are stupid enough to keep watching all the reality shows then they will remain on.
Myself I think they are pathetic
Like Big Brother, Survivor etc.
Any of the ones they have to back stab and do whatever to make it , just make the big bucks that sure does teach our children a good way to act.
The Bachelor the same thing women back stabbing each other acting like idiots over one guy? Come on.

Should not have been canceled. And to just stop producing it was rude. When we are invested in the characters and have something we count on to look forward to.

I an upset to see that this show did get cancelled. Eveytime my husband and I find a show that is worth watching on network tv it ends up getting cancelled becausee of cost or to “try something new”. We loved the characters, stories, everything. This is a big disappointment.

I will miss this show. The show had an interesting team of actors. I do however understand the numbers side of the story. Very unfortunate. I wonder what the missing viewers started watching instead of Without a Trace?

Bring back Without a Trace. CBS has missed the mark – again. As commercial television fights for ratings, network execs continue to delete thought provoking shows, focusing on mindless reality programming. To whom are they listening? Obviously not adult audiences – most programming is geared to 18-26 yr old viewers. Either ABC, FOX or NBC should pick this show up and insert it into a slot that is lagging in ratings at CBS.

I am sick and tired of all these realitiy shows. I know they are cheaper to produce, but I resent the fact that they take priority to quality shows like, Without A Trace. They made a big mistake in cancelling this show and I think they should reconsider their actions. Netflix and the cable stations are becoming more and more desirable and by the way, are receiving many more emmy’s than the standard channels. WAKE UP CBS.

I think it is time to send the Networks a message. Stop watching CBS,NBC and ABC. Subscribe to Netflix or watch TNT for shows such and The Closer or A&E The Cleaner, Lifetime – Army Wives; USAnetwork – Burn Notice and Psych.

We are sick to death of reality shows and cartoon shows. Get real networks! There are other people that watch TV besides the 14-24 year old demographic.

What better to put in the former Leno timeslot than a sophisticated drama with actual story lines and intriguing characters??

I keep waiting to hear when Without a Trace will be back on. I guess i won’t have to wait any longer. I agree that the days of good TV are getting further and further apart. I have Dish and get a lot of channels but I still watch for all the good dramas on CBS and NBC. I guess I will not be doing that as much.

You made a mistake when you cancelled Missing without a trace. I looked forward to watching my show every week. If wasnt going to be home I made sure it was recorded.
We do not have every many tv shows watching worth watching now days. I think you made a big mistake. I am watching COLD CASE right now and I really like this show so don’t make the same bad decision on this one.

well i have to say cbs made a big mistake to, i really think they should put it back on the air, i’m taping all the old ones, waiting and wondering when it will be back on till i checked here, i’m upset they took it off it was a great show, i just got in to watchin it in the last year or two, put it back on i bet the rating go up again!!! bummed in geneseo!!
