Zero Hour: Cancelled ABC Show Still Airing — Just Not Here

Zero Hour cancelled episodesThough ABC has cancelled and pulled Zero Hour off the schedule, it looks like viewers north of the border will get a chance to see the remaining episodes.

GlobalTV, which airs the Anthony Edwards show in Canada, still has Zero Hour on their schedule, at least for the next two weeks. The broadcaster runs Zero Hour at 8pm on Thursdays, just like ABC did.

Global makes aired episodes available online but are only available to those with Canada IP addresses.

There’s still no word on when or if ABC will get around to airing the remaining 10 episodes of Zero Hour. A summer run is a possibility but the show’s ratings were so poor that the network could likely garner better ratings from reruns.

On the positive side, ABC hasn’t removed the show from their website so there’s a chance the episodes could also be released there.

What do you think? Do you think Zero Hour will continue airing in Canada? Do you think ABC will air them eventually?

UPDATE: GlobalTV has now pulled Zero Hour as well. Both ABC and GlobalTV only aired three episodes.

Shame on you ABC! Not watching your channel anymore. Loved the show and could not wait for the next one. Change the day if you must BUT DONT CANCEL. It is a great program, unlike most of the garbage on tv these days. I am disappointed.

This is a really well done show in so many ways, VERY disappointed to see it’s been cancelled! PLEASE bring it back, stop paying attention to ratings that are missing a big piece of the advertising pie — there are tons of viewers who watch online (and still see the commercials because you can’t fast-forward through them). Keep quality stuff on the air, PLEASE! People will catch on, it just takes time — taking off a good show after only 3 episodes is ridiculous. My son just got hooked on this show too so we are both bumming.

I can’t believe it! Three minutes to air time and I find out it’s pulled. What was ABC thinking??? Finally a great show and now it is gone.

I hardly ever watch ABC anymore. Zerohour was the best show they had! Actual suspense! I guess I’m back to watching CBS. ABC needs new leadership! You can’t tell how well a show will catch on in 3 episodes. Many shows had tough times at first and became icons of the times. Maybe this is just another marketing ploy? Let’s hope.

I spent last summer in Bavaria, this weeks show preview was filmed in Lindau, Germany. I was so excited to watch this and show my family!!!! I love the show and am very disappointed you have cancelled it after three shows, seriously!!!!

Unreal! This was a great show. This makes 4 shows that we loved that ABC has pulled – we are now ‘pulling’ ABC from our tv viewing.

I can’t believe it! I was looking for zero hour and find its been cancelled. It’s the best new show this year. This sucks. Yes, I watched the following, but have stopped cuz it’s the same old thing every week. Nowhere for it to go. And I’m sure it will last.

I love this show!!
ABC please at least give us access to watch the rest of the season, even if we have to buy it.

I was also enjoying the show , though controversial. As mentioned , why invest time watching something if it is just ratings based. The hype before the show started made it sound great …but three episodes later it’s gone ?
This reminds me of all the hype for the final season of “Lost” . I still don’t understand how that ended ?!? That was also hyped up as being great , all it did was leave me feeling like I wasted my time watching.
I am waiting to see where ” Once upon a time” goes . I always make sure I tune in …one of the few shows I make time to watch.

My husband and I looked forward to the episodes each week. We are saddened that it is now off the air. Whatever your Program Director was thinking ( or NOT thinking ) s/he is quite incorrect. It was a thinking person’s adventure. Perhaps s/he shoul look into the marketing of this series instead of ratings.

When I couldnt find the show listed anymore I was very disappointed. I was looking forward each week for the next show. They should have given it more time to pick up viewers. So sad to see it go….

Jerry March 7, 2013 at 7:41 pm

can’t believe it either. apparently a show that makes you think a little is too much for the masses to comprehend. yes lets put on some more scripted reality TV. i think we a need a teenage bachellor and bachelorette show, LOL. i’m about ready to cancel my cable and throw my tv out the window. there are ever more commercials and the few things that are new and thought provoking get cancelled. Way to go ABC!

Sad to see Zero Hour go the way of 666 and Flash Forward. That must be what it was… show required thought! I feel like boycotting all of ABC’s advertisers if they (ABC) are going to air shows then pull them after viewers are hooked. Some of us actually like non-reality programming. Actually makes me feel a bit better to see similar reactions here.

Last resort was a good show. It could not cut into CBS’ lock. Like ABC’s Dancing with the stars, it is solid and unmovable. To pit Last resort or Zero hour against “Big Bang” and the BEST SHOW ON TV “PERSON OF iNTEREST” was stupid.

Charlie March 7, 2013 at 7:40 pm

I’m really ticked off !! I was getting ready to watch the next episode and BAM, It’s not there !! ABC SUX !!!! BIG TIME !!!
