TV show description: A drama that follows the multi-generational Walker family after the unexpected death of patriarch William (guest Tom Skerritt). His death causes several secrets to come out, most notably that he had a longtime mistress (Patricia Wettig) with a daughter (Emily VanCamp).
These secrets cause a great deal of strife for mother Nora (Sally Field) and her adult children; working mother Sarah (Rachel Griffiths), businessman Tommy (Balthazar Getty), gay lawyer Kevin (Matthew Rhys), recovering drug addict Justin (Dave Annable), and Kitty (Calista Flockhart) who is the communications director for US Senator Robert McCallister (Rob Lowe). Nora’s brother, Saul Holden (Ron Rifkin) helps run the Walker family business, Ojai Food Co.
