Desperate Housewives
A comedy-drama series following the lives of suburban women living on Wisteria Lane in the fictional town of Fairview. Storylines include murder, suicide, infidelity, child management, marriage, divorce, and unexpected reconciliation.
Primary characters are scattered and divorced mother Susan Mayer (Teri Hatcher), stressed mother of four Lynette Scavo (Felicity Huffman), former model Gabrielle Solis (Eva Longoria), “perfect” mother Bree Van De Kamp (Marcia Cross), and trampy real estate agent Edie Britt (Nicollette Sheridan).
Other characters include sexy plumber Mike Delfino (James Denton), Susan’s daughter Julie (Andrea Bowen), Lynette’s husband Tom (Doug Savant), Gabrielle’s husband Carlos (Ricardo Antonio Chavira), Bree’s husband Rex (Steven Culp) and their two children – bisexual Andrew (Shawn Pyfrom) and conniving Danielle (Joy Lauren).
The series is narrated by neighbor Mary Alice Young (Brenda Strong) who committed suicide just prior to the series’ start.
