October Road
Ten years ago, Nick Garrett (Bryan Greenberg) left for the big city and became a best-selling writer by basing a novel on his small hometown of Knights Ridge, Massachusetts.
Now, amidst the parties and social engagements, Nick has developed terrible writer’s block. He returns to his home on October Road in hopes of working through it and must face people that he’s avoided for the past ten years.
His old buddies include best friend Eddie Latekka (Geoff Stults), good-hearted Owen Rowan (Brad William Henke), obnoxious Ikey (Evan Jones), and reclusive Physical Phil (Jay Paulson). He must also reunite with his widowed father, The Commander (Tom Berenger), and his former girlfriend Hannah Daniels (Laura Prepon) who now has a 10-year-old son named Sam (Slade Pearce).
