“There’s a huge revelation about how time itself works.” Syfy has released a new season two preview for 12 Monkeys, which features interviews with the show’s cast.
The sci-fi series stars Aaron Stanford as James Cole, a time traveler tasked with traveling to the past to prevent a deadly virus from destroying the world’s population. Amanda Schull, Emily Hampshire, Barbara Sukowa, Kirk Acevedo, Noah Bean, and Tom Noonan also star.
In the video, Barbara Sukowa said fans can expect more character exploration from season two:
Season two will go much deeper in the relations between the characters. I think the first season was very much establishing the world, establishing the plotlines. But now it’s about really the characters.”
Season two of 12 Monkeys premieres on April 18 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
