Disney might be on its way to owning even more TV networks. CNBC reports 21st Century FOX is currently in talks to sell some of their assets to The Walt Disney Company.

Already, Disney owns several channels beyond their own (Disney Channel, Disney XD, Disney Junior). These include ABC, Freeform, and half of A&E’ Networks (A&E, History, Lifetime).

According to CNBC, 21st Century Fox is looking to sell some of their TV and movie studio properties as well as networks like Nat Geo and FX so they can focus on sports and news programming. Reportedly, the FOX network is not up for sale and neither are Fox News or the company’s local TV affiliates.

Both Fox and Disney have not released a public comment on these negotiations.

What do you think? Should 21st Century Fox sell their assets to Disney? How do you think this will change the television landscape?
