24: Legacy is coming to FOX soon, and there is still a chance fans of the original 24 could see Jack Bauer on the series at some point. Manny Coto, the executive producer of the new FOX series, spoke about the possibility of the return of Jack Bauer and Chloe during a presentation at Comic Con.
Will fans ever see the pair on the new FOX series? It sounds like a real possibility. Coto said the following, according to Deadline:
“It is not a reboot, it is an expansion of the 24 universe; Jack and Chloe are still out there. You never know when those worlds will intersect. There may be an intersection with those other characters down the line.”
Kiefer Sutherland also teased the possibility of his character returning to the franchise at some point. This fall, fans will see him on a new series, Designated Survivor on ABC. The actor is an executive producer of the new series.
