7th Heaven aired for ten seasons before it went off the air, and Catherine Hicks recently spoke about the possibility of a revival of the popular series. It is possible, according to her. However, there would be a major absence.
Stephen Collins was involved in a child molestation scandal in 2014, and he admitted to inappropriate behavior with three minors. That means a 7th Heaven revival would need to happen without him, and Hicks made that clear. She said the following, according to TV Line:
“I don’t know. I mean, we’d have to open with Stephen’s coffin. It’s all up to networks and those types of things. I think we’d all love to be together. … Maybe Eighth Heaven with a new boyfriend for Annie.”
