ABC is taking on the Special Forces. Deadline reports the network is developing a new drama series from the executive producers of Nashville.
The project comes nearly a year after the Pentagon announced women are allowed to serve in front-line U.S. military combat units.
From Meredith Lavender and Marcie Ulin, the drama “centers on an elite co-ed Special Forces team that will be forced to find a way to navigate both the treacherous waters of their external missions and the equally dangerous undercurrents of tensions — romantic and otherwise — within the unit.”
