In other news, the network says that original episodes of Wipeout kick off on June 21st with the new season premiering on June 23rd. That’s a little confusing since, according to production numbers, season four’s been airing for awhile already. In any case, more new episodes are on the way.

“TAKE THE MONEY AND RUN” PREMIERES TUESDAY, AUGUST 2The summer premiere of ABC’s “101 Ways to Leave a Game Show” is moving to TUESDAY, JUNE 21 at 9:00 p.m., ET. The series premiere of “Expedition Impossible” and Season 2 premiere of “Rookie Blue” move to THURSDAY, JUNE 23, at 9:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., ET, respectively. “Wipeout” will air a special original episode June 21, with the season premiere airing June 23, both nights 8:00-9:00 p.m., ET. The premiere of ABC’s new series “Take the Money and Run” moves to TUESDAY, AUGUST 2 at 9:00 p.m., ET.
From the producers of the hit show “Wipeout” comes “101 Ways to Leave a Game Show”. Based on Endemol’s successful worldwide format, the show will feature contestants competing in one of the most insane game shows in history for a chance to win $50,000. Contestants will match wits in a series of multiple choice questions, with one contestant being eliminated every round. But unlike any other game show in the world, the eliminated contestant will then be ejected from the show in spectacular fashion, i.e., being flown away strapped to the wing of a biplane, pushed off the top of a moving semi, dragged underwater by a one-ton anchor or yanked off a dock by a speed boat. “101 Ways to Leave a Game Show” is hosted by Jeff Sutphen (“BrainSurge”).
“101 Ways to Leave a Game Show” is produced by Endemol USA. Matt Kunitz (“Wipeout,” “Fear Factor”) is executive producer. David Goldberg is the chairman of Endemol North America.
“Expedition Impossible” features 13 teams of three racing in a fun expedition across vast deserts, over snow capped mountains and through raging rivers in the beautifully exotic, fabled Kingdom of Morocco. Each week a new stage of the expedition will be revealed to the teams. Will they crumble under the pressure of having to think clearly in the wilds of the great outdoors, or will they find a way to work together to complete the expedition? After 10 stunning legs of competition with drama, comedy and great characters, one team will cross the finish line first to claim victory. Each winning team member will receive $50,000 ($150,000 total for the team) as well a new Ford Explorer. Adventurer, zoologist, big cat trainer and all around risk taker Dave Salmoni hosts.
“Expedition Impossible” was created by Mark Burnett, who also serves as executive producer with Lisa Hennessy. Both the television show and format will be distributed internationally by Mark Burnett International Distribution.
In “Rookie Blue,” five young and ambitious rookie cops continue to navigate the emotional trials and tribulations of their professional and personal lives. Last summer these rookies hit the streets for the first time with their training officers and learned how to walk the thin blue line. Now the training wheels are off — more experienced, they’re ready to kick some serious butt. But these rookies are just beginning to realize there are no shortcuts to becoming good at this job. And when you’re a rookie officer, a little knowledge is a dangerous thing.
“Rookie Blue” stars Missy Peregrym as Andy McNally, Gregory Smith as Dov Epstein, Charlotte Sullivan as Gail Peck, Enuka Okuma as Traci Nash, Travis Milne as Chris Diaz, Ben Bass as Sam Swarek and Eric Johnson as Detective Luke Callaghan. Also starring in the series is Melanie Nicholls-King as Noelle Williams, Matt Gordon as Oliver Shaw, Noam Jenkins as Detective Jerry Barber and Lyric Bent as Frank Best.
Tassie Cameron, Ilana Frank, David Wellington, Noreen Halpern and John Morayniss are the executive producers. “Rookie Blue” is produced by Thump Inc. and Entertainment One.
“Wipeout,” ABC’s outrageously popular reality series, features 24 daring contestants of all shapes and sizes competing in the world’s largest extreme obstacle course designed to provide the best face plants, biggest splashes and wondrous wipeouts ever seen on television. The show is hosted by John Anderson, John Henson and co-hosted by Jill Wagner.
