Adrianne Palicki and Scott Grimes have joined Seth MacFarlane’s new FOX series, Deadline reports. UPDATE 8/23/16: The series has been named Orville.
Palicki has previously appeared in Friday Night Lights and Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD. Meanwhile, Grimes has starred in Justified and voices Steve Smith on MacFarlane’s animated comedy American Dad.
Still untitled, MacFarlane’s live-action comedic drama will take place 300 years in the future and follow “the adventures of the Orville, a not-so-top-of-the-line exploratory ship in Earth’s interstellar fleet. Facing cosmic challenges from without and within, this motley crew of space explorers will boldly go where no comedic drama has gone before.”
