Tamara Taylor is headed to Netflix. Deadline reports the Bones star has joined the streaming platform’s upcoming series Altered Carbon.
Based on Richard Morgan’s novel, the sci-fi drama “is set in the 25th century when the human mind has been digitized and the soul is transferable from one body to the next.” The cast also includes James Purefoy.
Taylor will play “Oumou Prescott, a very powerful, whip-smart lawyer who represents Laurens Bancroft (Purefoy).” Altered Carbon is being written and executive produced by Laeta Kalogridis. Netflix has not yet announced a premiere date.
