American Crime has some new company. Variety reports Janel Moloney and Ana Mulvoy-Ten have joined season three of the ABC series.
From John Ridley, the new season of the anthology drama will be set in North Carolina and explore workers’ rights and reproductive issues. Regular cast members Felicity Huffman, Timothy Hutton, Regina King, Richard Cabral, Lili Taylor, Benito Martinez, and Connor Jessup are all returning.
Moloney will play “Raelyn, a single mom living on the edge who is attempting to regain the trust of her family after years of betrayal.” Meanwhile, Mulvoy-Ten has been cast as Shae Reese. No other details regarding the role have been released.
Season three of American Crime is slated to debut in 2017.
