Although the American Dad! TV show left FOX after several seasons, it has made itself at home on cable, so don’t expect it to be cancelled by TBS, anytime too soon. The Turner-owned network renewed it through seasons 14 and 15, back in January of this year. Does the show still have what it takes to draw good ratings and earn its keep? Will American Dad! be cancelled or renewed beyond the 15th season? Stay tuned.
An animated sitcom, American Dad! centers on Stan Smith and his unorthodox home and family. The TBS voice cast includes Seth MacFarlane, Wendy Schaal, Scott Grimes, Rachael MacFarlane, Jeff Fischer, Patrick Stewart, and Dee Bradley Baker.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings, the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available.

For comparisons: The 12th season of American Dad on TBS averaged a 0.54 rating in the 18-49 rating with 1.005 million viewers.
