Dane Cook is coming to the small screen. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the comedian has been cast in Starz’ upcoming series American Gods.
The drama is based on Neil Gaiman’s novel, which is set in a modern world filled with both old and new gods.
Cook will play Robbie, the best friend of protagonist Shadow Moon (Ricky Whittle). The cast also includes Ian McShane, Emily Browning, Gillian Anderson, Crispin Glover, Orlando Jones, and Cloris Leachman.
American Gods is currently in production.
