The mystery continues. Recently, FX chief John Landgraf revealed the new season six teasers for American Horror Story are a misdirect, Deadline reports.
Earlier, the network released a series of promos that teased multiple themes for the upcoming season, ranging from a farmhouse to a haunted crib to Lady Gaga with a centipede crawling over her head.
At the TCA summer press tour, Landgraf said only one of those teasers is a clue to the real theme for season six:
Ryan [Murphy] decided it would be really fun to keep it a surprise, so we are not doing the reveal. (The Marketing team) went out and made trailers for hypothetical seasons of American Horror Story. One of them is accurate and the others are all misdirects.”
Season six of American Horror Story premieres on September 14th.
