American Horror Story is currently airing its sixth season on FX, but Ryan Murphy is already making plans for season eight. At an event in Los Angeles, Murphy revealed his plans. Fans will see a crossover between Murder House and Coven. Murder House was season one of the series, and Coven was season three.
Why is Murphy planning so far ahead? It is a matter of scheduling. He is already reaching out to members from both casts for the series. Emma Roberts has already expressed her desire to return to the franchise.
Murphy said the following about his plans, according to Entertainment Weekly:
“We do know what we’re going to do. It’s not going to be next season, but we are going to do a season that’s a crossover between Murder House and Coven together, which is very bizarre. I’ve [already] started going to actors from both of the seasons, quietly, saying, ‘I think in this window, if you could fit us in. So yeah, it’s fun. It’s weird.”
