How long will American Horror Story last? Recently, FX chief John Landgraf discussed the future of the anthology series, Digital Spy reports.
Earlier, we reported Sarah Paulson will return to the show for season six, which premieres September 14th. She joins fellow returning castmates Lady Gaga, Cheyenne Jackson, and Evan Peters.
At the TCA summer press tour, Landgraf said American Horror Story will last as long as there are “original new ideas”:
All good things must come to an end, but so far as long as Ryan [Murphy] keeps coming up with inventive, original new ideas, as long as the audience seems to want to see it… you can keep going.
It’s not a serialised story that by definition has a beginning, middle and end – it’s only the limits of your stories and your imagination that ends the show. Only time will tell.”
