American Horror Story is getting ready for its sixth season on FX, and they are already rumors circulating about what the upcoming season will be about.
Us Weekly reported that the series is looking to bring the Slender Man to life for season six. Slender Man was originally created as an internet meme in 2009, and he is shown as a black suited figure that stalks children.
Us Magazine reported that an insider said, “Someone else wrote the script, and AHS wants to adapt it to fit the show. They have to buy the rights. Then they’re going to figure out the cast from there.”
However, the rumors were quickly squashed as soon as they began to circulate. E! reported that the rumors are false. The news outlet also revealed that the concept for the new season would be revealed in March, likely at the Paley Center event held for the series that month. The season will focus on something that has been hinted at in previous seasons.
At the Winter TCA’s, it was teased that the next season would take place in two eras, but it would be largely centered on the present, according to a previous TV Series Finale report.
As for the cast, it appears that Lady Gaga has not been locked up for season six yet. She won the Golden Globe for her appearance in American Horror Story: Hotel. The Us Magazine insider said that they are “trying really hard to get her back!”
