America’s Got Talent, American Ninja Warrior: NBC TV Shows Renewed for Summer 2020

The peacock network is planning ahead. NBC has announced that two staples of the summer schedule — America’s Got Talent and American Ninja Warrior — have already been renewed for Summer 2020. That will be America’s Got Talent’s 15th season and American Ninja Warrior’s 12th season.

Both series are already set to return this summer. Season 14 of America’s Got Talent premieres Tuesday, May 28th, and season 11 of American Ninja Warrior debuts on Wednesday, May 29th.

The peacock network quietly announced the 2020 renewals as part of the 2019-20 season press release:

With a year-round primetime roster that is 83% originals, NBC will once again harness the power of the Olympics in Summer 2020 with a packed schedule of entertainment programming that includes the return of “World of Dance” alongside summer staples “American Ninja Warrior” and “America’s Got Talent.”
