Not content to accept defeat, Jones says that the Anchorwoman’s producer is actually shopping the series to other venues including E! Entertainment Television, MTV and other cable stations. If this happens, the remaining episodes won’t be posted on FOX’s site as previously announced.
In spite of FOX’s quick cancellation, Jones sees the whole experience as being very positive — especially for her career. She said, “I actually benefited because I got so much publicity. I have so many offers on the table and everyone’s been so supportive. No one has yanked those offers.” Jones expects to announce her new job very soon and is deciding between offers from E!, a big apple TV station and others. Stay tuned!
