Tom Bennett is coming to NBC. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the British actor will be a series regular on the network’s upcoming TV show AP Bio.
From Seth Meyers and Lorne Michaels, the comedy “centers on Jack (It’s Always Sunny star Glenn Howerton), a philosophy scholar who loses out on his dream job and goes to work as a high school Advanced Placement biology teacher.” Patton Oswalt, Lyric Lewis, Mary Sohn, Aparna Brielle, Jacob McCarthy, and Nick Peine also star.
On AP Bio, Bennett will play Miles Leonard, Jack’s Harvard rival who also happens to be an acclaimed philosophy teacher. NBC has not yet set a premiere date for AP Bio, but it is slated to debut sometime in 2018.
