Archer has gone full Magnum P.I. FX has released a new promo for Archer’s seventh season that mimics the entire opening credits of the classic 1980s series.
The new season of Archer premieres on March 31st.
This is not the first time the animated FX series has paid homage to a show from the ’80s. Season five of Archer had an entire Miami Vice theme, down to the look, setting, and title (Archer: Vice). So will season severn be Magnum P.I. themed?
Series executive producer Matt Thompson told Zap2It that “Archer loves ‘Magnum P.I.,’ so I’d love to see [Tom Selleck] do something.”
