Arrested Development: Watch the Full Cast Reunion

Arrested Development reunionIf you didn’t get to attend the New Yorker Festival’s Arrested Development “Bluth Family Reunion” panel, you’re in luck. A video of the entire 97 minute program has been made made available — to view for free.

It was the first time that the cast had reunited since the last episode was filmed back in 2006. In attendance were Will Arnett, Jason Bateman, Michael Cera, David Cross, Portia de Rossi, Tony Hale, Alia Shawkat, Jeffrey Tambor, Jessica Walter, and co-creator Mitchell Hurwitz. Ron Howard, the TV show’s unseen narrator, appropriately took part via speaker phone. The panel was moderated by the New Yorker’s Nancy Franklin.

In addition to the announcement that Netflix would be producing a fourth season and a movie, Hurwitz and the cast shared a few other interesting pieces of trivia about the cult favorite sitcom.

They included: the cast was originally supposed to be in their fifties; many of the best lines were ad-libbed; David Cross had to battle the network for Tobias to keep his mustache, and the network used Pamela Anderson’s quickly cancelled Stacked sitcom as one of the reasons that Arrested Development was being cancelled.

Members of the audience got to interact with the cast and also requested that they end the evening with the chicken dance — and they did. You can watch the craziness below.

What do you think? Are you looking forward to the long-awaited movie and new episodes?
