Rise and shine! Below, watch “Wake Up,” a new promo for Donald Glover’s upcoming Atlanta TV show on FX. Starring and created by Glover, Atlanta revolves around two cousins on their way up through the Atlanta rap scene. FX says, “Their opposing views on art versus commerce, success, and race make their quest anything but easy.” The first season of the comedy consists of 10 episodes, set to premiere on FX Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at 10:00pm ET/PT.
Actor, writer, musician and Community alum Glover is executive producing Atlanta, along with Paul Simms and Dianne McGunigle of MGMT Entertainment. The Atlanta TV series cast also includes: Brian Tyree Henry, Keith Stanfield, and Zazie Beetz. Atlanta is produced by FX Productions.
