The Bachelor is going mobile. Today, ABC announced they are producing a new Bachelor-themed Snapchat series, Watch Party: The Bachelor.

The reality series’ upcoming 21st season will feature fan-favorite bachelor Nick Viall, who has previously appeared on Bachelor in Paradise and The Bachelorette. Additionally, former bachelors Sean Lowe, Chris Soules and Ben Higgins will stop by to give Nick advice.

Watch Party is Disney-ABC’s first original Snapchat series. The weekly after show will “complement the ABC TV series by showing celebrities, comedians, super fans and infamous Bachelors and Bachelorettes get together each week to watch, in the words of Chris Harrison, “the most dramatic season of ‘The Bachelor’ ever.”

The first episode of Watch Party: The Bachelor debuts on Snapchat on January 3rd, the day after season 21 of The Bachelor premieres on January 2nd.

Disney|ABC Television Group and Snap Inc. today announced an agreement through which DATG will produce original episodic shows for Snapchat. ABC’s “The Bachelor” will be DATG’s first brand to co-produce a series with Snapchat for Discover, with its first episode debuting on Tuesday, January 3 – the morning after the premiere of the new 21st season of “The Bachelor,” Monday, January 2, on ABC. This new Snapchat Show, “Watch Party: The Bachelor,” will complement the ABC TV series by showing celebrities, comedians, super fans and infamous Bachelors and Bachelorettes get together each week to watch, in the words of Chris Harrison, “the most dramatic season of ‘The Bachelor’ ever.”

Just like you and your friends, this rotating cast of “Bachelor” enthusiasts will meet for every episode and together on one couch experience the roller coaster of emotions that is an episode of “The Bachelor.” Intercut with clips from each week’s episode, the Snapchat audience will watch along with the cast as they hang out, eat snacks, crack jokes and hilariously react to the crazy/wild/romantic storylines that are sure to unfold this season on “The Bachelor.” Consisting of 10 original episodes and one Live Story, “Watch Party: The Bachelor,” will be available the Tuesday morning after each episode of “The Bachelor” and live for 24 hours on Snapchat

In the coming months, several additional shows from DATG will roll out on Snapchat, which is now adding original, scripted and unscripted shows to its Discover platform. In addition to Shows, which are a character or format-driven, single-narrative video production, Discover also features Editions, which are selections of editorial content produced by outside editorial partners, and Live Stories, which are a collection of snaps submitted by Snapchatters in specific locations and edited and curated by Snapchat producers and editors.“

Earlier this year, we worked closely with Snap on a very successful The Oscars Live Story, and we look forward to building on that relationship and providing Snapchat’s mobile-centric users with a unique, immersive experience around our shows and brands,” said John Frelinghuysen, executive vice president, Digital Media, Strategy and Business Development, Disney|ABC Television Group. “With the upcoming ‘Watch Party: The Bachelor’ we look forward to working together with Snapchat to not only reach Bachelor fans in an entirely new way, but to also provide our advertising partners with even more opportunities.”
