What is happening with Bachelor in Paradise? Today, ABC released a statement regarding the recent scandal surrounding season four of the reality TV show.
Earlier, we reported that Warner Bros. shut down production on season four of Bachelor in Paradise after “allegations of misconduct” arose. Later, ABC News reported that the act in question could have been sexual misconduct between cast member DeMario Jackson and a female contestant.
For awhile, it looked like ABC was going to cancel not only season four of Bachelor in Paradise but possibly the series altogether. However, now that’s not the case. The network has released a statement, saying season four of Bachelor in Paradise will premiere this summer as originally planned:
We appreciate the swift and complete investigation by Warner Bros. into allegations of misconduct on the set of ‘Bachelor in Paradise.’ Given their results, the series will resume production, and will air this summer on ABC.”
