The Bachelor has their new leading man. Deadline reports the new bachelor for the ABC TV show’s 22nd season will be Arie Luyendyk Jr.
The 35-year-old former auto racer was a runner-up on season eight of The Bachelorette. He’ll make his debut as the new Bachelor when season 22 premieres on ABC in January 2018.

Born in the Netherlands, the 35-year-old Luyendyk and his family immigrated to the United States when he was three years old. He is the son of Formula One racer Arie Luyendyk Sr., a two-time Indianapolis 500 winner.”
