ABC has their new Bachelorette. The network has announced Joelle “JoJo” Fletcher will star in the reality series’ upcoming 12th season.
Fletcher was a finalist on season 20 of The Bachelor, which just ended yesterday.
A Texas native, Fletcher graduated from Baylor University before going into real estate development. The choice is an interesting one, given that former ABC chief Paul Lee said the new season would feature a more “diverse” bachelorette.
Season 12 of The Bachelorette will premiere on May 23rd.
