DC fans, you can now get ready to see Batman and Wonder Woman join forces in the comic world. A new set of comics is linking the Batman from the classics 1960s series, played by Adam West, and the Wonder Woman played by Lynda Carter.
The characters will join forces in Batman ’66 Meets Wonder Woman ’77. This will be thanks to time travel. The 12-comic series will arrive on November 23, and it will be available digitally.
Marc Andreyko, the man behind Wonder Woman ’77, said the following about what fans will see in the comics, according to Variety:
“Because of the comic book, we have an unlimited budget for special effects. We can draw things that we’d never be able to do on the TV series.”
Jeff Parker, the man behind Batman ’66, also spoke about staying true to the iconic characters. He said the following:
“You have to be able to look at it and hear Adam West’s voice coming out of Batman, and it does. When I read back over the proofs, I hear Lynda’s voice. It works.”
