Beerfest is coming to the small screen. Deadline reports the 2006 film is being developed as a digital series for The CW’s streaming service, CW Seed.
The original film featured Cloris Leachman, Will Forte, and Donald Sutherland.
From comedy troupe Broken Lizard, Beerfest followed two brothers (Paul Soter and Erik Stolhanske) who join an underground drinking tournament at Oktoberfest in Germany.
The series is being developed by CW Seed and Warner Bros. It’s expected to debut in late 2016.
