Behind Enemy Lines may still come to a television screen near you. FOX has been trying to adapt the film for a television series, but their attempt was not successful. The network is now trying to bring the project to life once again, according to Deadline.
A new writer has been brought in by the entities behind the series. Deadline reported that Nikki Toscano has been hired to write the pilot script.
Deadline revealed the following about the plot of the television series:
“The new version of Behind Enemy Lines, described as a high-octane military thriller, takes place in the midst of critical peace negotiations between the U.S. and Russia as three American soldiers are shot down behind enemy lines in Eastern Ukraine.”
