There’s something rotten in the state of Denmark. Esquire has just released a new trailer for their upcoming original series, Beowulf.
The series, based on the Old English epic poem, premieres on January 23rd.
Beowulf stars Keiran Bew as the titular warrior, who is tasked to help rid a neighboring kingdom from the terror of a mysterious monster. The series also stars Williams Hurt, Joanne Whalley, and Ed Speleers.
This is the first time that Beowulf has been adapted for a TV series.
